It's a cover, it doesn't do much. The material is rubber, not plastic. It's pliable but still very hard, a lot like a tire or the soles on a pair of running shoes. There are no words, logos, or designs, it looks plain and just seems to disappear (exactly what I wanted).6500

When it comes to receiver tube covers,this is the one that I always choose because it is more or less permanent. No need to look for it once you unhook. Just pop the cap into the tube and you are set to go. Good product. 16867

Decent looking, heavy-duty rubber like. The picture looks like it is just a square cup that fits over the receiver, but on the inside/backside there is actually another part that fits snugly into the receiver. It takes a small bit of wiggling to get the cover on each time. Added bonus - it has a spot on the backside into which you can "plug" a 4-pole flat wiring connector storage.78130

I like this cover a lot. I cut the cover and the band with the 4-pole connector holder apart so It would hold the wires on top of the receiver and not be hang down when the hitch is in use. This worked out very well on my 2012 Chevy Equinox and keeps everything very clean looking. The rubber cover is soft and stays in place very well on my Curt hitch receiver.63073

I had the hitch installed earlier this week. So far, all is well. Great experience with the order, delivery etc... while installation was very easy, you do need a air gun type drill to remove the bolts and fasten them. At least that was true on my vehicle. seems to be a quality product so far. saved mored that half the cost had i purchased through the car dealer.39404
