The Pro Series Q-Slot bike carrier provides an extremely versatile yet affordable way to carry up to 2 bicycles of almost any frame style or length. The hitch-mounted, platform-style rack has adjustable hooks and wheel hoops to accommodate most bikes and a shank that works with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches.
The Q-Slot upright arm features a pair of adjustable hooks controlled by hand knobs. The independently adjustable hooks move up and down the support arm, allowing you to carry 2 bikes of unique sizes simultaneously. The hooks also have soft padding to protect your bike's paint finish.
The bike carrier features large wheel hoops that slide along the side tubes to accommodate bikes of almost any length. The wheel hoops are controlled by hand knobs and include Velcro straps to secure your bike wheels in place during travel.
All three of the rack arms - the side tubes and the upright mast - are held in place by bail pins. Removing the pins allows the arms to be folded up or down for convenient storage and access to your vehicle's rear cargo area.
The Q-Slot includes a nylon sleeve adapter that snaps into place over the 1-1/4" square shank to convert it for use with 2" square hitches. A 1/2" hitch pin is included for use when you are carrying the rack in a 1-1/4" hitch, and a 5/8" hitch pin is included for those times when you are carrying the rack in a 2" hitch.

Today we'll be reviewing the Pro Series Q slot platform style Two-bike carrier for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part #PS63134. The nylon adapter sleeve will snap into place on the shank to convert it for use with two inch hitches. Now the bike rack shank has two holes drilled in it, the bike rack comes with a half inch pin for the inch and a quarter hitches and a 5/8 inch pin for the two inch hitches. This hitch mounted platform style bike carrier will allow you to carry two bikes at almost any frame style or length. The hooks on the upright arms secure your bikes in place during travel. The wheel hoops will slide along the side tubes of the bike rack to accommodate most bike lengths.
The bike rack arms will fold up for convenience and storage and the upright support arm tilts down for access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Now we're almost ready to load our bike. We'll need only to undo the wheel loop straps and bring them out of the way. We can then place the bike into the wheel loops and bring our vertical bar up remembering to reinstall the bell pin holding the arm in the vertical position. We'll then bring the clamp down over the top bar of our bike which will secure it to the bike rack.
We can then move back down to the wheel loops while we'll put the straps through and secure them on the other side. And this is what the Pro Series Q slot would look like with your bike loaded. This bike rack has a weight capacity of 90 lbs. the Pro Series Q slot is a proof for use on the back of an RV. The maximum wheel base is 58 inches.

This product is a total waste of money. I used it once and the plastic knobs used to tighten the bikes in place are very shoddy. They broke in my hands when I tried to tighten them. They must be very tight or else the bars that go over the bike frame will pop up and your bike will spill onto the road. After it broke, the bolts were exposed and I could not find a wrench that was skinny enough to loosen it up. I ended up using a vice grip. I had bought extra knobs at a local harward store and they too broke. This product just requires too much strength to tighten everything and be secure. I do not recommend this product to anyone, ever. I am very disappointed as etrailer said I could not return the product of a full refund because I bought it back in June (I first used the rack on October 1) even though I only used it one. So now I am stuck with this rack and have to carry a wrench with me everytime I use it. It also takes a considerable amount of time to use the wrench to loosen and tighten everything. I have to stop driving everynow and then and check the rack and retightening everything. What a pain to deal with.25234

Pros: It gets the job done. Cons: VERY difficult to get the plastic wingnuts tight enough to prevent slippage of both the wheel cradles and the bike frame holders. I have to use a large adjustable wrench on these. Since I carry the same bike, the wheel cradles only require one instance of that process, but the bike frame holder must be moved up/down each time the bike is unloaded/reloaded. There is also a lot of play at each junction point - at the trailer hitch, and each hinge point of the rack itself. This allows for a lot of overall wobble, but doesn't seem to cause any problems so far. It may be normal for racks of this type.16570

This rack is so close to good but has some seriously fatal flaws- as mentioned by others, it is impossible to hand tighten the hooks that keep the bikes attached to the rack. I bought a rachet to be able to safely keep my bike on the rack. The fifth time I used the rack the carriage bolt turned in the holder and striped out the holder rendering it worthless. I replaced it with a standard bolt and now have to carry two wrenches to keep my bikes on the rack. The bikes WILL fall off if you don't use a tool to tighten the hooks. At this point i have completely removed all the hardware that came with the rack hooks and replaced it with my own bolt and a series of washers. It does work, but if you're not a diy-er don't even think about buying this rack. The plastic wheels that keep the wheel holders to the rack are also a major pain to tighten. You won't have to do this every time, but when i have to make adjustments there is always cursing involved. Take my advice- spend a few more bucks and get a better quality rack. I've already spent the difference on tools and hardware, and the rack is still a pain to use.45067

The rack that we purchased is exactly what we needed. I purchased this rack so that we could use it on a Volvo withan 1&1/4" hitch and also on my truck that has the 2" hitch. It folds neatly for storage and swings out of the way for easy trunk access. 11020

Not bad for the money! I will replace all the pins with bolts to tighten it up. It moves around ALOT!!!! when loaded with the bikes. I will also replace the padding on the retainer hooks with something more substantial.46923

Just what I needed. I use this bike rack to carry my beach cruiser and BMX style bikes with me. It is easy to assemble and easy to install. Loading bikes on-and-off is fairly easy as well. Those are the 'pros'. The only 'con' I have for this rack is that the adjustment knobs have to be turned really hard to get them completely tight to where they wont move, its not impossible just a little tough. But once they are in place you know your bikes are secure. 3933

Great produce at an excellent price. All parts needed for assembly included with detailed instructions. Easy assembly. I do have two negatives about the rack. First, due to the design with the different hinges and pins, the rack seems a bit shaky and wobbly going down the road loaded. Despite that, it is very secure and I am comfortable with my bike on this rack. The other negative is that somehow the frame hooks got squeezed together too much somewhere in the manufacturing or packaging process. Right out of the box they would not fit over the upright rail. I had to beat on them with a hammer to open them up to go on. Now that they are on, I love this rack. Would definitely purchase again from etrailer!38544

I chose this particular rack because Im cheap. I admit it, I also admit that I do not buy anything without reading reviews first. The reviews for this rack were great so I figured I would give it a shot. etrailers.com were awesome, I purchased a hitch a couple weeks before and they noticed that so they shipped the bike rack the same day as a thank you for being a returning customer. Thank you. Now for the rack. This rack is nice and solid. I expected the wheel chocks to be cheap metal anywhere from 1/4 to 3/8th stock but they ended up being 1/2 which is super nice. For the price and type of rack, this thing is nice. I almost regret not going for the 4 bike setup. If youre like me where reviews and price matter I would 100% suggest this rack to you. I also bought a hitch lock to bring my total up to the $150 free shipping threshold. My only suggestion would be to ship at a reduced rate rather than getting it out a day sooner for return customers. I would rather save a few bucks than receiving it here a day sooner. 53686

This race is very nice and it holds the bike on very nicely. I purchased a rack last week when I got my new bike but had to stop 3 times on the way as it did not hold the bike secure and I thought it was going to fall off. I have no worries with the ps63134 . The hooks were to tight and would not slide on the the up and down bar. I had to spread them just a little to get them on and for them to slide but the wheel loops were also to tight and would not slide on but I could just spread them a little and they work GREAT. I'm very happy and very pleased with this rack it is really the first one I have owned for a hitch mount. My local bike shop has a rack that is similar to yours other than it had teeth like the old bumper jack it might be a step up from yours but it was 279.00 dollars but to be honest I very glad to have found yours and again I'm very happy with it.35388

Received my order quickly, very pleased with my purchase. Straight forward instructions and assembled quickly. Took 2 bikes out today, a trek and my cruiser. They are both girls bikes so I had the trek stabilizer turned upside down and used as a hook. Worked great! I did use a couple bungees for insurance, but overall, I am very pleased.
