• We strongly recommend not hauling any more than the lowest rated component of your system. You must also keep in mind that using an extender decreases the hitch tongue weight capacity by 50%. Please note that using a hitch extender will lower the tongue weight capacity of the hitch maximum downward force that can be applied to the receiver by 50 percent.
