Today on this 2012 Ford F150 were going to do a test fit of part number HL51231 from Husky Liners. This is their front floor mats and this is their semi-custom fit. Well start off our test fit by removing any existing floor mats or liners, and well go ahead and lay the new mats into place. Starting on the passenger side, well go ahead and lay it down and you can see it has a really good fit as is. Now, theres cutout lines for different interiors, but in this case it looks like just removing the shipping tab will work just fine. You can see it has an edge that goes all the way around to trap the water and mud and also goes part way up the floorboard.
Now well go over to the drivers side and test it out. Looks like it has accommodations for the two factory attachment points on the floor, and also goes underneath the pedals and part way up the floorboard. And, the only thing that looks like it needs to be cut out would be just the shipping tab. These floor mats are constructed from a rubberized thermoplastic material that wont crack or break and it also has an extra thick drivers heel pad to prevent wear and tear. And if you look underneath of it, you can see it has the stay put nibs underneath of it to help keep the mat from sliding around.
And, now Im working with the black color. This is also available as tan as part number HL51233, and gray as part number HL51232. And with that, that will finish it for our test fit of the Husky Liners Semi-Custom Fit Floor Mats on a 2012 Ford F150.
