I purchased these fittings thinking these would fit my GM product. NOT.......These are 3/8 and looks like the fit the truck series only as stated on the package. Be aware36976

It looks like from reading the matierl if one is using the cooler in series with the factory cooler this adapter is not needed. Thus I would like to return, but I fear the shipping cost will not make sense, dollar wise... Thus the recommendation should state if you are adding a cooler to your system where one does not already exist, then you'll need this adapter. So if your adding to an already existing system, you do not need the adapter.23007

  • How Many Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings Are Needed To Install Transmission Cooler 1999 GMC Yukon
  • The item you selected, Derale Radiator Adapter Fitting, part # D13018, is the adapter fitting needed for a transmission cooler for your 1999 GMC Yukon. Part # D13018 comes with a quantity of 2 which you will need to install a transmission cooler on your vehicle. • Transmission Cooler Recommendation and Install Instructions for a 1996 Chevy Express Van
  • I would recommend the largest cooler that will easily fit in front of the air conditioning condenser on your 1996 Chevy Express Van. In your case the Derale Class IV, Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, item # D13504, would be the one that I would go with, but you will need to measure to be sure there is room for it to install in front of the A/C condenser. There is a simple way to determine which transmission line is the return line. Start the vehicle and let it run for a bit, th

  • Solution For 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Overheating When Towing 4,000 lb Trailer Up a Grade
  • If you are pulling a trailer under the towing capacities of your 2008 GMC Sierra 1500, the engine temperature of the truck should not overheat. I would recommend having the vehicle looked over by your GMC dealership. What I would recommend is adding a combination transmission and oil cooler, as well as a cooling fan. This will cool the transmission fluid, the engine oil, and engine. For this, I would recommend the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler, part # D15903. You will

  • Correct Transmission Line Fittings to Install Transmission Cooler on 2009 Chevy Traverse
  • According to Derale, the correct fitting to install the D13504 cooler in your 2009 Traverse would be part # D13035, if the return transmission line is attached to the radiator using an E-clip. You would need two of them. If the connection does not use an E-clip, you would need to use a compression fitting. The correct fitting will depend on the outside diameter of your transmission lines. For a 5/16 inch line use part # D13031, for a 3/8 inch line use # D13032 and for 1/2 inch line use part #

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2009 Yukon XL SLT 5.3 Towing an 8000 lb Camper
  • When it comes to transmission coolers, I recommend choosing the largest transmission cooler that will fit into the available space. The ideal place to install a transmission cooler is directly behind the grill, in front of the radiator and A/C condenser. I would recommend measuring the available space so you know what size cooler to look at. For your 2009 GMC Yukon XL SLT with the 5.3 liter engine, I would recommend using the Derale Transmission Cooler, # D13504. This is a class IV cooler rat

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2003 Cadillac CTS
  • When it comes to picking out a transmission cooler for a vehicle there is not a list of confirmed coolers that will fit different vehicles. The best way to pick one out is to measure the area in front of your radiator and pick a cooler that will fit in that area. If you have the room I think a Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13502 should work well to cool the transmission fluid of your 2003 Cadillac CTS. The measurements of this cooler are 11 inches wide, 7-1/4 inches

  • I am not familiar with a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 4.6L V6 engine, so I did some research, but I was still not able to find a model that came with a 4.6L V6 engine. According to my contact at Derale, the 5/8 Inch Inverted Flare Fittings, # D13018, that you purchased should fit the 2012 and 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 4.3L V6.
