- What you will need to do is install a Reese rail kit into your 2004 Ford F-350. Reese rails are compatible with different brand fifth-wheel hitches. The Valley rail kit that you have may or may not be compatible with other brand fifth-wheel hitches. The older Valley rail kits will not work with other brand fifth-wheel hitches.
