The lady who helped me on the phone knew her products. The product shipped right away and was delivered in three days. It was delivered in good shape. it only took a couple of hours to install. That included messing around. There was two of us because of the weight and we were both senior citizens. Really appreciated the ease of installing. I purchased the product because of the jolt caused by the cracks in the cement when pulling my 5th wheel. Customer service was excellent81804

I am not very familiar with the Highjacker fifth wheels, but if they are comparable to the Reese, Curt and Draw-Tite units, you should be able to unbolt the head from the legs or sliders and move the head up. If the trailer rode level before the 5th Airborne was installed, it is possible that you have the wrong model 5th Airborne. If you can give me the make and model of your pin-box, I can make sure you have the right 5th Airborn

  • Hitch Trailer Before or After Filling Air Spring on a Fifth Gear 5th Airborne Pin Box Coupler
  • First, hitch the trailer to the truck, then add air. Proper pressure level depends on many factors like truck used and what trailer the Airborne is on. Start at 80-100 PSI, if the ride is too stiff, let some pressure out. Too soft, add some more. Do not ever exceed 120 PSI. If you cannot get a good ride, then the air spring may need to be adjusted. See page 4 of the instructions. I would let most of the pressure out before you un-hitch the trailer from the truck.
