Went in very easily in a 2011 super duty long bed - by myself, installation took about five hours for hitch rails and in-bed 7 pin connector that came as a kit with 18K head, but i was moving slowly. Head unit came pre-assembled. The rails themselves are very heavy, much heavier than my old above bed rails - I have no doubt this will last forever. It'll be nice to have the whole bed of my truck without rails in the way - there is absolutely nothing that rises above the bed floor. 22506

First, your customer service rep was the best. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Secondly, the hitch shipped so fast (we were in a hurry for it) so that was very wonderful! We installed the product the same night as we received it, the instruction were very straight forward and made installation easy. And we're now ready to pick up our new fifth wheel. Thanks again for all of your help! These comments also apply to product RP30142 the fifth wheel hitch with wiring harness. 48892

Customer service was excellent. Product was back ordered, but etrailer kept me up to date on the progress and expected shipment date. Package arrive in great condition. Instructions were easy to follow and installation time was about four hours. Removing spare tire makes the installation much easier. 118114

This is the second truck using the Signature Series Fifth wheel hitch. Had a Ram 05 2500 SLT, now installing on Ram 2012 Big Horn 3500 (not dually). both beds are long box. First time on the 05 took less the 4 hrs. Pretty simple, directions were good. This time not so smooth. Don't have the MEGA Cab but after wasting too much time trying to insert the rails(which I did on the first truck), just decided to follow the MEGA option and raise the truck bed. Also needed to remove the fender well cover on Driver side to access the area. Once I did this went pretty smooth. One ground lug had to be relocated which fell right in the middle of the plate on driver's side. Exhaust is always in the way for what you are about to do. Good idea to run all bolts into rails to clean out threads before install, especially the pointed locator bolt supplied. Also removed the spare tire and heat shield. Just do it, you will be thankful for the extra space. 80580

This is a well made and engineered product. I really like how tight and rattle free the hitch is. Setup takes some time to get it just right, but worth the time. The down side is changes made to the kit in the past year or two. The instructions now state to drill some very oversized holes in the bed based off measurements. I find this method to be sloppy. The first kit I used included a pointed bolt. This bolt was installed from under the vehicle and tightened from the bottom to make a mark in the bed of the truck. This made drilling far more accurate and the holes in the bed could be much smaller. I will use this method over the new method. The results are a cleaner and more precise installation. 34881

I had to drill a few holes in the frame and truck bed got the 2 1/2" hole saw, t50 star bit, and 5/8" drill bit, and hex bit, from Lowe's Home Improvement. Would have better if these items were included in package or info on were they can be purchased. also helps to have a friend to help that's handy with tools! 70216
