This diesel system includes all the parts of the exhaust system from the end of the turbocharger back to the tailpipe. MagnaFlow systems have Mandrel bent tubes that allow for unrestricted airflow by maintaining the same diameter throughout every curve. This curvature leads to decreased back pressure.

MagnaFlow mufflers have a stainless steel perforated core that runs straight through the muffler, end to end, with no baffles, chambers or louvers that restrict airflow. This system's muffler sports a fully polished, mirror-like finish. A layer of stainless steel wool insulates the perforated core to absorb noise, shield high exhaust temperatures and prevent blowouts.

Today on this 2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty we will be installing MagnaFlow performance exhaust part number MF16926. You need to do a couple of things in preparation before we get started installing our exhaust system. First we want to disconnect the vehicles battery. This will allow the computer to reset itself once we get the new system in place and that will help prevent electrical accidents. If your vehicle has four wheel drive we also need to go ahead and remove the transfer case rock shield. There are four bolts holding it on two per side. We will just set that off to the side for the time being. We also need to go ahead and remove the lower bolt from the rear passenger side shock. Again this will allow us to swing the shock out of the way to help make the removal of the system easier. 00:54

Your brake line is running right in front of your spring preventing it from swinging out of the way. You probably need to go ahead and remove the brake line off of its mount too. We are ready to go ahead and start removing the factory exhaust. You want to start by unbolting the rear half of the system and disengage the welded hangers from the rubber isolators. Then we will go ahead and remove the first clamp. We are going to start at this first junction point and remove from the muffler back from this joint here. When trying to remove the rear section of the exhaust it may help to go ahead and remove the spare tire hitch bracket and the rear exhaust hanger as well. 02:21

Then moving forward we are up to the particular filter and the forward most hanger. Again we need to remove the hanger from the exhaust system and we are going to go ahead and unbolt it here as well. We do want to make sure we hang on to all of the factory hardware because we will be reusing it later. The next step is to go ahead and remove the down pipe from the turbo system. What we need to do is loosen the V clamp just enough to get the down pipe removed. We want to leave the V clamp attached to the turbo side for our reinstallation of the new system. It may be necessary to cut the down pipe if you are having trouble getting it around the transmission bracing. Next we want to take the down pipe off of our new exhaust system and go ahead and attach it to our turbo system using the existing V clamp. We want to get it on just tight enough to where it is holding the two pieces in place. Next we are going to go ahead and install the lower section of the down pipe to the upper down pipe. Before we do that I am going to put the forward most exhaust hanger back in to place. What we are going to do is actually connect the lower section of the down pipe to the down pipe extension before hand. We will use the exhaust hanger here to help support everything so that we are not putting too much stress on to the V clamp. 03:52

We will be connecting the lower down pipe to the down pipe extension using the four inch clamp. All of the clamps that we are going to be installing are just going to be snugged up for the time being. Again until we get the whole system in place and everything rotated into position to how we want it and then we can tighten everything up. Then we just want to fasten these two. We want to fasten the upper down pipe and the lower down pipe using the welded clamp that is on the upper down pipe. With the lower and upper down pipes connected we can go ahead and our down pipe extension into the rubber hanger. Again you will note that this is the section where the particular filter went previously. From there we want to put the nine inch section of pipe onto the down pipe extension. We are going to connect those two using a four inch clamp. Next we will put the converter extension onto the nine inch pipe and again we are going to connect those with a four inch clamp as well. Next goes the intermediate pipe which has a welded hanger on it that is going to go on to our middle rubber hanger. We will be connecting that piece to the converter adapter using a five inch clamp. The next step is going to depend on whether or not you have a long bed or a short bed model. Long bed models are going to require the 18 inch extension pipe to go into place here. Short bed models will go straight to attaching the muffler into place. We are going to be attaching the muffler to the intermediate pipe or even the 18 inch pipe extension using the five inch clamps. 05:57

Next the tail pipe extension will go on to the muffler as well as clamp on with one of the five inch clamps. Last we want to go ahead and put the tail pipe assembly on. You are going to be attaching it to the tail pipe extension using the five inch clamp. Also attaching it to the rubber hanger. With all of the components in place we just want to go back through and tighten all of our clamps down. We will start with the V clamp that is attached to the turbo, work our way rearward. You also want to make sure that if you had to lower the bolts off of the sway bar in the front and then off of the spring here at the rear that we attach those back into place as well. You want to make sure you also reinstall the sway bar up in the front and the lower bolt for the shock here at the rear. We also need to make sure we reinstall the transfer case rock shield as well. Okay with all of the clamps tightened down we just want to make sure we reconnect our battery and put our spare tire back up into place and our installation will be complete. This will conclude the installation of MagnaFlow performance exhaust system part number MF16926.
