Cat-back systems include exhaust parts from the catalytic converter back to the tailpipe. The Mach Force XP exhaust line from aFe includes large, 3", 4" and sometimes 5", mandrel-bent tubes that increase airflow by maintaining the same diameter throughout the exhaust system. This decreases back pressure (also called "exhaust turbulence"), which can reduce airflow by as much as 20 percent. By maintaining unrestricted airflow, aFe exhaust systems boast airflow gains as high as 80 percent for some vehicles.

The aFe muffler included in this system has a stainless steel, perforated core that runs straight through the muffler, end to end, with no baffles, chambers or louvers that restrict airflow.

I spoke with our contact at AFE and he said that there is no measurement you could take or any tell tale body or frame changes that are apparent.
