From the high-capacity fan to the placement of the controls, this stylish, domed roof vent achieves a refined look and function at an affordable price.

High-Capacity Fan

The fan motor is located in the center of the vent to allow the fan to use all of the available area inside the frame for air movement. This allows the fan to move air at 400 CFM. And the transparent plastic fan blade doesn't block light. So when your vent is open, your trailer interior will get plenty of sunshine.

Easy-to-Operate Control Knob

The control knob, which lets you open and close the dome, is located at a corner of the vent - outside of air movement space so it won't interfere with airflow.

Rugged Dome

The tinted, rounded dome is made of rugged polycarbonate plastic that is durable enough to carry a lifetime warranty.

Note: Not for use above tubs, showers, or cooking range surfaces.

Video Transcript for Ventline Enclosed Trailer Parts V2525-04-S46-M Review

Today we are going to be taking a look at part number V2525-04-S46-M. This is the vent line northern breeze RV roof vent, with a 12 volt fan. This fan is designed to help draw out stale, smokey or hot air from your enclosed trailer, your camper or your RV. It's going to feature a high capacity single speed fan with a 12 volt 1 amp motor, that's going to draw or move air at 400 CFM which stands for Cubic Feet per Minute. Here on the bottom side there is going to be the easy to access rocker switch. Soon as we design that's going to control the auto-off functions of the fan. Now while we have it open I want to point out that it's going to contain 11 clear fan blades, as well as clear braces.

So that's going to allow some light in. The dome is going to be translucent so that's going to allow some light in as well and it's got the nice seal right here. So it's going to offer a nice watertight connection when the dome is in a closed position. Now the dome is very easy to operate. Right now I have it in the fully opened position, but located here on the underside. This right here is going to be your hand knob that's going to control the opening and closing of the dome, so we'll go ahead and close that up.

Very easy to raise and lower. Nice hinge the design here on the backside. It does come with the snap out screen,, this is going to help keep out bugs and debris from getting into your trailer. It's easily removable that way you can get in there and clean as needed. Got the finger indention here on the side, rotated a little bit that's going to allow the screen to come on out, that way you can clean it.

You can also gain access to the fan blades and clean those as needed also. Go ahead and put this back in. Now the mounting flange on this is going to be galvanized steel. It's going to have a nice white powercril 00:02:36 finish on it. So it's going to do the job at resisting rusting, corrosion. It's going to last a long time. That flange has 9 holes all the way around the perimeter.

It's going to contain 28 mounting holes, and that way you ca get is securely mounted to your application. Here on top we are gong to have the tinted translucent poli carbonate blue plastic dome. Again that's going to let plenty of light in in addition to the clear fan blades. On the bottom side the coloring of the screen frame right here. This is going to be birch white in color. Just want to mention that because this is the portion that is going to be visible from inside your trailer camper or RV. Pretty simple installation though, simple screws in you standard sized openings. This is designed to fit rough openings of 14 and 1 quarter inch long by 14 and 1 quarter inch wide. Your matting 00:03:07 hardware seal it into your garnish and wiring. They're going to be sold separately. It comes with your lead wire here, but if you need any additional wiring the portion is going to be sold separately. The product is made here right in the USA. Now what I want to do is go ahead and hook it up to our external power source. That way you can kind of hear how it operates. Some fans are pretty loud. This one I found to be pretty quiet. So I just want you to be able to hear that. Gong to hook it up. Now I'm gong to go ahead and open up our dome. Vent line recommends that the dome be opened a little bit if not all the way when operating the fan. So the fan will turn on with the dome in the open or closed position, but just keep in mind that it is not recommend to use the fan with the dome in the closed position. So I have everything hooked up. I'm going to flip the switch to the on position. Single speed operation or single speed design. It's a nice quiet fan. Allows a lot of air circulation and again that's going to contain 11 clear fan blades and the CFM which again is the Cubic Feet per Minute when talking about airflow is 400. That's going to do it for today's look at part number V2525-04-S46-M.

I am very happy with the Ventline Northern Breeze vent with fan. The fan really moves alot of air, you can feel it. It runs quiet and has a clear fan blade that let the light in. I just sold an older trailer that had this same fan installed, it gave me years of service with no problems. I just got a new trailer and the first thing I did was buy and install a new Norther Breeze vent fan. They are made in USA and etrailer.com sells them and stocks all the parts for them. Also etrailer notified me when they shipped and also after it was delivered, this is great service. 235762

  • Replacing the 12-Volt Fan Motor on a Ventline Northern Breeze RV Roof Vent
  • I went to our warehouse to get a Ventline RV roof vent # V2525-04-S46-M in order to determine if the fan motor can be replaced from accessing the underside instead of the topside. It isn't possible to replace the motor from the underside but removing the fan blade, as you did, is the first step. Once you remove the fan, open the dome lid, head topside and use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove all 4 screws of the existing fan motor. You can either pull out the wires as you remove...

  • Roof Vent with Fan Recommendations for Enclosed Trailer
  • The fan of the Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan # V2128SP-01 that you referenced is an exhaust type fan that would pull hot air out of a trailer. The fan blade may be small but it still works well. It pulls 100 CFM. If you wanted a setup with a larger fan you would want the Ventline Northern Breeze RV Roof Vent # V2525-04-S46-M. The fan of this vent pulls 400 CFM.

  • Replacement Motor for Ventline Northern Breeze Vent/Fan Single Speed in 2009 Jayco 19H
  • There was a design change for the motors used in the Northern Breeze vents. The replacement 12 volt single speed motor for Northern Breeze vents is # VD0337-00. It fits vents # V2525-01-S46-M or # V2525-04-S46-M. If you do not have either of these vent models then I recommend replacing the vent assembly. I have included a link to the vents with 12 volt fans we carry. The old motor measured approximately 2-3/4 inches from the mounting surface to the end of the shaft the fan blade fits...

Unfortunately Ventline no longer has stock of those circuit boards. So, a new fan is in your future and we can help. You can use the linked page to see all roof vents from Ventline and others. • Replacement Roof Vent Lid for Powered Vent With Offset Lift Mechanism
  • It sounds to me like you have a Ventline Northern Breeze RV roof vent like part # V2525-04-S46-M. You can examine the existing vent for manufacturer information and the model number. This vent has the lifting mechanism bracket on the side, not and the middle of the vent and the lift is operated by a knob, not a crank. It sounds exactly like what you described. • What is the Cubic Foot Per Minute Rating for Ventline Roof Vent w/ 110V Fan V2128SP-01
  • The first thing you should know about roof vent # V2128SP-01 is that it operates on 110 volt AC power. If you need a 12 volt DC powered vent with a fan this one will not work. But I spoke with my contact over at Ventline and found that the AC powered vent # V2128SP-01 is rated for 100 cubic feet per minute. For a 12 volt DC powered vent I recommend # V2525-04-S46-M which moves air at 400 cubic feet per minute.

  • Can a Larger Fan be Installed in the Same Housing as Old Van on Ventline Ventadome
  • The guts of a higher capacity fan would not fit in Ventline vent # V2094SP-30 without fairly extensive modification so I do not recommend it. The best solution would be to remove the vent assemblies and install newer, higher capacity options. Fan # FV801200 for example has a larger fan and moves air up to 920 cubic feet per minute which is more than twice what the Ventline Northern Breeze # V2525-04-S46-M can put out. The Northern Breeze RV Roof Vent Fan fits an opening that is 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide. If your current vent has a rough opening size of 14-1/4 square inches then this fan will work for you without cutting or significant modification.
