This roof vent's powered, 12-volt fan and dome lift provide the ultimate in convenience for ventilating motor homes and enclosed trailers. Fan and wedge-shaped, plastic vent cover are operated from a remote wall switch.

Installation Instructions

Mark desired location for vent. Be sure to choose a location between roof joists.
Cut a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening through roof and ceiling. (Or use existing opening if you're replacing a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" vent.)
Apply sealant to bottom of flange. Be sure to surround each screw hole.
Insert vent through hole with screen frame extending through roof cavity and hinge of vent toward the front of the vehicle.
Mount to roof with #8 screws.
Remove screen frame and wiring compartment cover to make electrical connections.
Connect to 12-volt DC power source.
Replace screen frame and cover.
Attach interior garnish piece with #8 screws.

Today were looking at the Ventline Vented Dome Roof Vent with 12-volt fan, part number V2119-603-00. The power lift opens and closes the cover, eliminating a hankering. It has a translucent cover allows sunlight through and the fan the power lift uses a 12-volt system, so 110-volt hookup is not required. Its made in the USA and has a rough opening size of 14 by 14 with a one-year warranty. The outside flange is galvanized to prevent rust and corrosion on the outside of attachment point. Inside, it has a removable vent which will allow you to also see the wiring pigtails to connect both your fan and the power opening and closure.
