Today we're going to show you how to measure for the RV manual pull out steps and attachment inaudible. Now the biggest difference between these steps is the depth of the bottom stair from the center of the attachment point at the top of the mounting plate. First, we need to measure the width of the stair assembly. In this case, it's 27 1/2 inches. We'll also measure the stair height which is 9 inches. The third measurement that we need to take is from the center of the step assembly here at the top at the cross bar and make a diagonal line straight down to the edge of the bottom stair.
This will give you the measurement that you need in order to correct stair. If your stairs aren't there, you'll measure approximately between the two mounting bolt holes for the stairs at approximately a 30 degree angle to obtain a measurement that will suffice the stairs that you need. Once you've determined the correct dimensions, you can go to our website and select the appropriate stairs for your trailer. And that will do it for how to measure for the correct stairs for your RV trailer.

I actually ordered this product to use on a stationary dock that has a floating dock attached tu use as a step on low tide. Not what it was made for but it works perfectly in this application. 21532

I used this at the side door of an enclosed 7x14 trailer. Item hung to far down but by removing the top cross bar and welding to the frame underneath it fit perfect and was very stable, no flex at all when stepping on it. Bought this for my cargo trailer to step out easier from the side entry door. Used larger self tapping screws to mount to floor joice. Mounted up easily this way. These fit on 2 ft. on center joice. Will tack on with welder if they appear to loosen in any way. Works great and quick shipping. Would buy from again.37513

I purchased a single fold-out step. It's solidly built of heavy-gauge metal and installation was fairly simple (I had to slightly retro-fit my camper for good support). The goal was to gain solid footing when stepping out over my boat-trailer tongue, which we pull often when camping. The step folds down, but clears the tongue making it much safer getting in and out.
