Today were going to review part number 9139. This is the Redline Two-Piece Roof Vent for enclosed trailers. This heavy duty two-part vent will stand up to the elements for years. Its a rugged heavy duty metal vent which will hold up to whatever nature can dish out. The rectangular exterior piece is designed to shed rain water while allowing air movement. The slope shape encourages water to run off.
On the inside is an interior baffle which will direct any water that goes on the inside to the drain holes on each corner, right here and right there. The louvers right here on the top will allow the air flow. This vent does have four threaded holes already installed on it which will allow the round inner piece to be mounted on to the vent. This round interior piece has a sliding door that lets you control how much air flows in and out. There is a foam gasket that is included when installing this to the top vent.
Now this round interior piece as you can see you can slide it open. This will fit holes that are actually 6 inches or smaller. The exterior rectangular piece is going to be 10 inches wide by 12 inches long and total height, this will stand up, will be right at 2-1/4 inches. This circular piece, the total overall diameter is going to be 7-1/4 inches and the actual height on this piece is 3/16 of an inch. Now, when installing this two-piece roof vent there are holes already drilled into the outer edge for installation.
There are 20 holes so it will use 20 screws to mount this exterior piece. We do sell the mounting hardware separately. You can use part number 31071. Now when mounting the round interior piece to the outside vent you would use four number 10-32 machine screws, which are not included. Thats required to mount this part to the outer vent.
For walls if they're up to 1/2 inch thick you can use a machine screw which we sell separately, part number 29515 and it is required you should use some sealant to help seal this when youre attaching it to your roof. We do also sell the sealant separately. Its a Loctite Urethane sealant and thats part number L0150811. Now this vent does not have a screen. And that should do it for review on part number 9139.

I have a commercial reach in cooler in my food truck. The compressor sits on the top. I took a temperature reading at just over 200 degrees on a 89 degree Florida day. After installing the Redline vent, the temperature has never gone above 105 degrees. That's a 100 degree difference! I did not use the butterfly damper as i wanted it to be always open. i added a vent cover with a sleeve, because of the 3" gap in the ceiling. Looking at the picture of the truck you can barely see the vent top from 25' away. I didn't need more drag going down the road. With the low profile of the vent I get rid of heat and no drag.
