Although I anticipate no problems in using this item and it's a great value for my purpose, I would have been happy to pay a little more for a pre-installed in-line fuse. As it stands, there is no "visible" fuse from a direct battery hook up to an attached accessory. An in-line fuse would give visible cues for any problems.22193
