CIPA towing mirror fits factory mirrors that look like this

Note: This slip-on mirror only fits factory mirrors like the mirror in the image above. Will not fit OEM extendable mirrors.

Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with this CIPA slip-on towing mirror. By adding it to your OEM side-view mirror, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass and park with a trailer in tow.

The mirror is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirror. Simply slide the mirror over your side-view mirror and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedge to hold the mirror in place. This wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, we'll be installing the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, part numberCM11301. This is an adjustable mirror that extends your vision around trailers. The one-pieceaerodynamic, enclosed head design is fully adjustable to easily fit existing mirrors.To prepare to install our mirror, we'll first go ahead and install the foam pad under the shoe. Nowwe're ready to go ahead and install our mirror. We'll take the shoe and fit it into the groove, andthen set it over the mirror. With the shoe hooked around the front edge of the mirror, we'll thenslide the CIPA mirror over the manufacturers mirror.

Once into place, we'll go ahead and take thehand knob and tighten it down. As you can see, it installs securely over the existing mirror with notools required, with a durable, corrosive-resistant construction and the mirror being fully adjustable,at any angle, from the drivers seat.And there you have it for the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, part number CM11301 for our 2013Toyota Tundra.

These mirrors are a little more difficult to put on because of the Wedge. On the right side mirror I had much difficulty screwing in the keeper bolt due to messed up threads. 33405

The mirror fit my 2011 Tundra okay. I say okay because in order to tighten the mirro on so that it will stay, it buldges out of the track inside a little. If I loosen it so that it isn't buldging it is VERY easy to pull the miiror off and I assume it will fall off just as easy. If you over-tighten it it is easy to pull off as well. I did get them on and I drove down the road this morning with no apparent vibration or loosening so it looks like they will work. It is probably the cheapest solution, but I don't think it is the BEST solution. I would rather have the factory mirrors and I will probably save up my money to get them.22829

I like the idea of the mirrors, they worked okay for what I need but would be better if they fit a little tighter around the stock mirrors. the clamping bracket works, but again, it would be nice to have a tighter fit. 21167

Was not thrilled with the way they fit but I think they will stay on. Quality looks good and I can see very well. My truck is brand new so I would like to have had some type of padding to prevent scratching. As usual etrailer service and delivery was superb.20796

Product seems to be pretty solid until I try to fold the mirrors in. When this is done the mirrors pop loose. I was assuming that the passenger side mirror would be convex (wide angle view) like the standard passenger side mirror. If anything, it magnifies so what you can see from the driver side is very limited.24680

The next best Mirror I can recommend for your 2006 Nissan Frontier is the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, item # 11650. This mirror mounts to the vehicle door at the window ledge and the door bottom and extends out 17 inches for maximum vision when towing. The only drawback to this mirror, over the # 7070 that you tried, is that it takes up more room for storage when not towing.
