the mirrors are great after a year I dont know how I ever got along without them

by:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic

These are Quality Mirrors, very sturdy. Took me about an hour on the first side, (learning curve) but the second side was 1/2 of that. Makes the truck look great and can't believe what a difference they make for field of view. As for function my truck was set up for the turn signal and power mirrors and they work great.

No problems at all, still love them.

2003 GMC Yukon

The service from etrailer was great like always.
These mirrors are for our 03 Yukon for towing a travel trailer. They are condsiderably larger than the OEM mirrors in the collapsed position, the once extended they are almost twice as long.
The only problem I had is the directions are a bit generic and tell you to pry the power window switch panel from the door panel to access the wiring. The picture supplied shows the lock panel being pried off which is correct but the power window is screwed in from the backside so the door panel needs to be removed and then reach behind it to remove the wiring.

by:
Chevrolet Silverado

The mirrors are freaking awesome. Was easy to take off old mirrors and install new ones. Second day I had them on my Silverado, someone asked where I got them. I told them etrailer.com. They ordered a pair right there in the parking lot. The quality is great and I am really pleased with them.

by:

Product is exactly as described. The work great and are much larger than the mirrors I removed. Unfortunately instructions are not included with these mirrors. Although they simply plug in, removal of the inner door panel is required. I am attaching the plug in picture since it is only allowing me to upload one picture.

by:

Great product easy installation only took 1 hour for both mirrors definitely helps pulling my gooseneck trailer and camper

by:
2005 GMC Yukon XL

Fit & appearance is OK.

But the
upper mirror (the controllable portion) wobbles enough to be bothersome. It catches my peripheral vision and distracts me. Moreover the shaking makes it’s difficult to identify vehicles in view.
As a result, I primarily use the bottom mirror and try to ignore the upper.
One thing I had to get used to was being a little wider than before but I don’t mind.

Once I get time, I will try another brand & see if they are better.
Nothing here is a reflection on etrailer, which I have found to be good to deal with and believe they have products better than some other websites.

These mirrors are excellent quality.
They installed easily on our 2003 GMC HD with hand tools and 1 year in, they function flawlessly.
My wife loves them for pulling her horse trailer, field of view is crystal clear at all speeds and vastly improved over stock small mirrors.
I highly recommend these for anyone pulling a trailer or if you just want to have a better view of surrounding traffic.

Excellent quality These have been on our GMC 2500 HD for a year now and have been flawless every since. Primary use for the truck is for my wife to haul her horse trailer and she loves them. Only took an hour to install. I recommend these to any truck owner whether of not you pull a trailer, the field of view so far superior to stock mirrors.

by:
2005 GMC Sierra

Thank you for reaching out and seeing if I was satisfied with your products. The bolt pattern looks good and the mirrors are what I expected in quality.
Today's the first day I have had to disassemble the door on the truck to install my new mirrors.
Part #6207576G is the # on the box I Receved.
Unfortunately the electrical harnesses do not match up to my vehicle.
The truck is a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD Turbo diesel w/ 6.6 bed.
I confirmed on your website that I had selected to correct mirror and it appears to be in the correct year range.

Can you help me to resolve this problem.
Best Regards

I spoke with the R&D Manager at K-Source, who tells me that its very likely you have located the wrong connectors. What youre looking for comes off the power control located in the armrest on the door.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Silverado

My wife gets tired of hearing me RAVE over my new mirrors. Like factory mirrors. They are solid -Don't vibrate like other extensions I've used. Excellent rear and side view, whether I am pulling my fifth wheel or the 27ft boat. Only thing I would change is that I should have bought these years ago.
And they were truly plug and play. Only took time to remove door panel, remove old mirror, replace mirror then panel. Piece of cake.

by:
2005 Chevrolet duramax

The Mirrors were shipped extremely fast. Great Service from etrailer.com. The Mirrors seem to be extremely well built and installation was not bad. The Lower Mirror portion gives much more of a security view around my 2005 Chevy Duramax truck. It seems that the mirrors tilt in at the top more than I would like. Other factory mirrors seem to look more level. The top section adjusts properly on both mirrors with the power adjustment knob in the truck. It does take a couple of days to get use to the size though. If I had these mirrors a couple years ago I probably would not have Jackknifed my single axle trailer into the right rear quarter panel of my truck. $2,500.00 repair cost. Overall I am very happy with the Mirrors and would recommend etrailer.com to anyone.

by:
2005 GMC Sierra

Our main concern on aftermarket mirrors is the "shaking" due to poor design. We were delighted to find that these mirrors do not shake at all. We tow a large 5th wheel so seeing in the mirrors is huge for us. Installation was relatively easy plug/play and did have to remove the door panels. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend these mirrors to others.

by:

Look high quality have not installed them yet

by:
2004 Chevrolet Silverado

Installed on a 2004 Chevy 2500HD- The mirrors are solid, installation looks great. Easy to install, they even came with instructions on the door liner removal which was helpful. I would give it 5 stars except the first set had some defects (Tabs internal to the mirror assembly were broken on both. The passenger mirror was completely out of the housing). I contacted etrailer.com and they promptly sent a replacement set which had no issues. Their customer support on this was excellent! I recommend these mirrors but give them a close inspection upon receipt.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Silverado

The mirrors work great. So much better than the old ones. It took a little while to get used to the larger size and not being able to see around it at times. The bottom mirror is a God Send....I can see our
5th wheel much better and the cars beside me.

by:
2005 Chevrolet Avalanche

I am very happy with these extendable towing mirrors. They're high quality in looks and constuction. The mirrors are larger than the mirrors they replaced and give a much better view to the rear. The instalation took approximately 1.25 hrs. done at a local body shop. They will be a great help when towing our travel trailer.

by:

Great product and all fit as advertised. Leveling was harder than the video let on but a pocket magnet to handle the 6mm washers was way better than old fat arthritic fingers. What they don’t tell you is the plastic cover needs modified so it will fit after you level them. The lip on top needs to be removed so it would snap back on. I love them and they will be a great addition to my rig.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Silverado

Not being mechanically inclined, I had the mirrors installed by professionals who needed to pull wiring for the turn signals. The new mirrors are outstanding! I now can see around my trailer much easier, and the mirrors look great!

This is not my first purchase from etrailer.com, and I return because of great products and excellent service!

2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

I recently needed to upgrade my original side view mirrors to adjustable towing mirrors. The K Source Custom towing mirrors are perfect for what I needed. (Chevy 2500 diesel 2006)
After reviewing the on-line installation video I was able to install them in less than one hours time. They fit great, all electric functions seem to be in good working order. This is my second purchase from etrailer.com and it will not be my last.

by:

Love 'em. Remember you lose memory position function, so disable the memory seat function using the steering wheel buttons and dash display. If you don't the mirrors point a funny direction every time you unlock with the FOB.

by:
2006 Chevrolet Silverado

Very quick delivery, easy install, and everything works as it should for now.
I will know more after I have them a while.

by:

The material that is the plastic they are made of is peeling in layers due to exposure to the elements in different areas of the drivers side mirror. Every time I wash the truck more comes off. Only the left mirror is doing this. Maybe the curing process for the plastic was not accomplished correctly. Something is not right. These mirrors were very expensive and I am not pleased with the product. I have thought about replacing them withe factory GM mirrors but then I would be out the money I paid for these after market mirrors.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Avalanche

I ordered there mirrors based on reviews. Fast delivery? I hit send on my order then the doorbell rang. They fit perfectly, the wiring harness snaps right in place with new hardware attached. The view they provide is a game-changer compared to stock. And they don't shake, which seems to be the problem with the others. Thanks for a quality product that works!

by:
2003 Chevrolet Silverado

Great product, easy to install no issues and looks great.

I had power mirrors, with no turn signals in the mirror. i went ahead and bought the model with power windows and integral turn signals counting on the factory wiring being there to allow them to work. Sure enough the new mirror plugged right into my existing door receptacles and I now have working integral turn signals.

  • Replacement Towing Mirrors for 2006 Chevy Silverado
If the wiring harness that plugs into your current mirrors doesn't support the turn signal fucntions, the turn signal won't work on the new mirror. There might be a way of running a wire from the turn signal circuit on the truck and pinning it into the harness feeding the # KS62075-76g mirror, but I was unable to find any information on how to do it. For mirrors without the turn signals, use # KS62075-76GE. You can see an install video by clicking the provided link.

Did you check the fuse box in the interior of your 2006 GMC Sierra? If you open the driver's door you should see a fuse panel on the side of the dash that would normally be blocked by the door when it is closed. The fuse and relay for the mirrors will be in that fuse panel. Another possibility is that you have a bad mirror switch or the wiring to it has somehow gotten damaged.

Because the K-Source replacement towing mirrors # KS62075-76G mount to the same location as the factory mirrors, vibration should not be any greater than with the factory mirrors. Vibration can be an issue with universal mirrors and clip-on towing mirrors in part because you have one part mounted to another which adds a point of possible movement.
