Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, well be installing the Cipa Custom Towing Mirror for the drivers side, part number 10801.Now these mirrors slide over your existing mirror to give you added vision for towing. Aside from easy installation that requires no tools, the Cipa mirrors leva no marks or holes on your vehicle.Well begin by taking this piece here that comes with our Cipa mirror and installing it to the Cipa mirror frame. Well want to make sure that the slot in the bracket slides over the tab on the mirror. Well then go ahead and begin to thread our T-bolt in to the back side of the mirror.Well now go ahead and place the mirror into position here on the drivers side. Once weve got it positioned, well move back to the knob and tighten it down securing it to our OEM mirror. Now it also maintains the aerodynamic shape of the OEM mirror, they dont interfere with the OEM mirror at all and are fully adjustable.Now this mirror does come by itself.
The passenger mirror, part number 10802 is sold separately.That completes our test fit of the Cipa Custom Towing Mirror for the drivers side part number 10801 on our 2005 GMC Sierra.

I like these towing mirrors because they fit on very securely, are streamlined, and look like custom mirrors. The mirror itself adjusts nicely for a good rearward view, making it easier to see if there is anyone behind me. I recommend them.46407

I have not installed them yet. But the mirrors were exactly what I was looking for. I have an 05 Denali that is in incredible shape, and I wanted trailor mirrors that did'nt look like "trailer mirrors". I am looking forward to putting them on. Helps see what I was missing I purchased both the driver and passenger mirrors. Both were easy to prep for installation and the installation was a snap. I am glad it has an adjustable screw on the back to make sure it is snug. I was concerned that it would make rattle loose in heavy winds but I did not have any issue when using these. It gets pretty windy out here in the CA Bay Area Delta. These were an exact fit over my stock mirrors and although my Suburban mirrors are of considerable size, these deffinately made a difference when it came time to back up with my rig or spot deep vehicles when it came time to change lanes.2987
