Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Video Transcript for Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Van
Today on this 2001 Dodge Ram full size van 3500 we are going to install part number 118381 from Tow Ready. This T-One connector is designed specifically to plug into the van with or without the OEM 7-way connector on the back. This is the connector right here and this van does not have the OEM 7-way connector. We are going to take off this cap right here and then go ahead and install our T-Connector. These little red blocks are what you want to undo first.
Push down this button back here and the cap should come off. Okay, do not loose the cap. What we are going to do next is go ahead and install our T-One connector back into the matching socket. And then go ahead and put the lock back into place. And take your cap which will go on the remaining half that is not being used. Again put the lock into that too. And then all you have to do is just zip tie our wires up and get them out of the way and run our 4-pull wire out to the hitch. Once you have everything connected and secured it is a good idea to go ahead and test it with a light tester first before you connect the trailer so you know the van is working fine before you plug into your trailer. And there you have it for part number 118381 from Tow Ready.
