Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Honda Accord's wiring harness, which is located beneath the floor of your rear cargo area. You will need to remove either the spare tire or center storage bin to access the wiring harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, open your fuse box and locate the fuse position indicated in the instructions. Then insert the included 15-amp fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within the spare tire compartment of your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your Honda Accord's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your Honda Accord operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your Honda Accord's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Today on this 2012 Honda Accord Cross Tour we're going to install part number 118500 from Tow-Ready. Our first step is to go ahead and remove all floor coverings and the center storage bin. Now to remove the drivers side cargo tray there's a small cover we have to lift up and the bolts underneath it. We'll go ahead and remove the bolt and then remove the cargo tray. After we remove the tray if you look towards the bumper underneath the carpet you should see a connector wrapped up in blue tape. We'll go ahead and release the blue tape and then pull the connector out.
Then plug in the wiring harness. Now we'll go ahead and locate a clean flat surface out of way to mount the T connectors convertor box. Then we can go ahead and reinstall the interior components. While we're reinstalling the interior components we'll take the four pole end of the wire harness and run it towards the center storage bin. You'll see how the wire harness will store int eh storage bin.
We'll put our panels back into place. Now you need to go to the front of the vehicle underneath the hood and get to the fuse panel. Now all that's left to install provided the 15 amp fuse into the open slot located here. With the fuse installed we'll go ahead and replace the cover. Now we'll go ahead and show you how to use the four pole harness.
Simply pull it out and shut the hatch on it. Just make sure you stay away from the center latch. The door seals thick enough where it wont hurt the wiring harness when you're using and going down the road. Then when your done simply store it in the storage compartment underneath the floor and you're good to go. That will finish it for our install of part number 118500 from Tow-Ready, on our 2012 Honda Accord Cross Tour..

Pops right in, just reach under the foam block to the right of the spare tire. Grommets are available to send the wires through the body, but you'll have to splice the wires back into each other.68067

Installation of this wiring harness took longer than I expected, but only because I didn't read the instructions carefully. If you follow the instruction sheet, it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to install this. After installation, everything worked perfectly the first time.61994

I had been researching the best product to fit my needs and this one was it. I selected this product because of the protection the module would provide to my cars electrical system. When I received the product and read the instructions and saw how easy this would be I immediately started and I was done in fifteen minutes. And that was because I wanted to do a custom install for the location of the plug for the trailer. So far so good. I tested it with my trailer and all lights, turn signal and stop lights functioned perfectly. Thank you for making this so easy!!! 60920

If the installation of a wiring harness could be any easier, I can't imagine how. I installed this harness on our 2010 RDX, and things went pretty much like clockwork. I made more work for myself than necessary by removing some of the trim pieces on the driver's side. I really just needed to remove the two barbed trim fasteners for the rear sill plate and the two on the passenger-side. Then with the spare tire removed, I was able to partially lift the molded styrofoam block on the passenger side to see the blue-taped trailer connector pigtail. I just cut the blue tape with a pocket knife, and pulled the pigtail out far enough to connect to the new harness; then slipped the connection back under the styrofoam block. Then it was just a matter of peeling the plastic off of the double-stick tape on the control module (black box) and affixing it to the "forward" wall of the spare tire bay. At least on a 2010 RDX, this is truly a 15-20 minute jog. Finally, I tip my cap to etrailer.com. The ordering process was flawless, the delivery was lightning fast (23 hours), the directions were clear, and the video library was very helpful. Salute! 23147

Product is similar to my previous installed harness except there was no identification of wiring as on my old harness. Also the picture of the fuse location is of no use.55050

Installed on my 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. This was so so easy, I could not believe it !! Simple Simple Simple !!! One plug to plug in.. Click & it is in stalled ... The ONLY item t o mention, is the 15amp fuse works- but does not fit all the way down even with the other oem 15amp fuses. The Honda oem fuses are slightly different & fit down INSIDE the holders. The 15amp fuse supplies with this unit plugs into the stabs ok, but will not fit down inside like the others.. I dont think I matters...31864

The harness Itself is an excellent product. It was a perfect fit for my 2011 RDX. Could not have been easier to connect. However detailed instruction on how to remove the styrofoam and trim moldings would have been extremely helpful. The included instructions advise to anchor the harness using the double stick tape on a flat surface beneath the styrofoam trim. No guidance on how to get the styrofoamfoam out of the way. 9523
