    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind tail lights
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector
  • Made in the USA
  • Limited 1-year warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies and interior trim paneling to access this harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Video Transcript for Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Ford E-350 Van

Today on this 2006 Ford E350 van were going to install part number C56020 from Curt. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove the two taillights. Then well disconnect the taillights from the wire harnesses. Now well go ahead and get inside the van. Well open up the doors and remove the panel for the jack storage compartment. Next well remove the threshold.

Also well remove the fasteners here. Well take the four pole and insert it on the passengers side and run it out to the jack storage compartment. Well pull it through. Well also pull one half of a wire harness with the yellow wire all the way through with this connector. Well go ahead and take that yellow wire connector, well route it underneath the carpet over to the other side.

Well sneak it underneath the plastic, and then well use a piece of scrap wire fashioned into a hook and pull the wire back up through to the taillight. Well make our connection to the wire harness. Well be using the factory wire harness with the green wire with the red stripe. Well connect up to that. Well leave that side alone for now.

Then well go ahead and do the same thing over on the passengers side. At this point we can go ahead and snatch the other half of the T connector onto the taillight and reinstall the taillight on both sides. Then we can go ahead and reinstall the threshold and the jack storage compartment cover. With all interior components reinstalled we can go ahead and show how to use the wire harness. First well go ahead and shut the drivers side door.

Well tuck the wire underneath the edge of the door, and then we can go ahead and shut the other door. The door sealed around it will protect the wire, keep it from hurting it or anything like that. Just make sure you stay away from the latch. Then well pull out what we need to go down to our hitch, and then its ready for use. At this time well go ahead and install the four pole cover as well. With that, that will finish up our install of part number C56020 from Curt on our 2006 Ford E350 van.

This product is great! After buying the standard U-Haul wiring kit, and then spending hours taking apart the back of my E-350 and the wiring bundles only to find out that the wiring colors didn't match what I needed to splice into, I gave up and did some more on-line research. Thankfully I found this product, which is made by the same manufacturer as my hitch. Installation was straightforward and went without a hitch (no pun intended), and it worked perfectly on the first try and ever since. Thanks!79612

  • Ground Wire Problems With 7-way Adapter On 2008 E350 Econoline Van
  • You went the right way when you checked the ground wire first. You will need to make sure all of your ground connections are good. The ground connection at the vehicle is especially important because it must travel through the connector to the trailer frame. The connector on the trailer should be secured to a clean surface on the trailer frame and each taillight assembly must be grounded either through the mounting bolts or a separate wire from the taillight to the trailer frame. • Need Help Wiring Electronic Brake Controller to 2007 Ford E350 Van With Tow Package
  • The blue wire, or EBC wire ends somewhere along the factory wiring harness. Where it ends can vary and it is better to run a power wire from the blue wire under the dash to the back of the vehicle. For this you will need 10 Gauge Blue Primary Wire, part # 10-1-1, which is sold by the foot. I would say 25 feet would be more than enough wire to run to the back of your 2007 Ford E350 Van. If your vehicle has just the factory 4-flat connector, you will need to install a 7-way connector. I reco
