Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Chevrolet Tahoe with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Chevrolet Tahoe's wiring harness, which is located beneath your vehicle, along the driver's-side frame rail.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your Chevrolet Tahoe, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

All right. Today on this 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, we're going to install Part Number 118319 from Tow Ready. All right. First thing we'll do is go find the connection point that's located behind the bumper. The connection point will be just left of center if looking from behind the vehicle. We see our connector.
Lastly, we have to loosen up, so push up on it and pull it apart. Now, we'll take our T connector, and we'll go ahead and push it back between the tube pass. The factory wiring will fit on each side of the T connector. We'll plug it back together until they click then we'll take the whole assembly, push it back into place, back in the original location using bridge or push pin that'll holds it in the frame. All right.
Now, we'll take a white wire, with a ring terminal, we will go ahead and ground that to the frame. We'll take the provided self-tapping screw and we'll go ahead and attach it to the frame cross member, and that will finish it for our install of Part Number 118319 from Tow Ready on this 1998 Chevrolet Suburban.

Item wouldn't fit in one end of plug. Had to saw some of the plastic off to be able to fit entirely down in truck's harness. After doing so, the latch was able to stay connected and the T harness worked great.79116
