Specs:
CargoBuckle's third-generation tie-down straps bolt to your trailer and simplify the securing and unloading of your cargo. They are designed to keep constant tension on the strap and require minimal ratcheting to secure your load. Dual safety locks keep the ratchet arm in the desired open or closed position, so the ratchet will not accidentally loosen or tighten up. Instead of always having to find and store tie-down straps that hook to the tie-down anchors on your trailer, you'll always find CargoBuckle's straps right where you need them. Just pull up on the hook and strap, attach the hook to your cargo, and then ratchet the a few several times. No more dealing with extra webbing or looking for the tie-down strap. And when unloading, simply push the release button on the ratchet, free the hook from the anchor and let the strap retract back down into the ratchet. The included brackets and hardware allow you to permanently mount the tie-down flat against surfaces, but with a 45-degree tie-down angle. They allow the strap to be used in situations where there are obstacles that would prevent the strap from being accessed or used, and they make it easy to secure cargo boxes or your motorcycle.
Note: Tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 1,500 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 pounds, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today were going to review part number IMF18800-77. This is the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Downs with the angle mounting brackets. These heavy-duty retractable ratchet straps will help secure your load when towing or hauling. They do tighten down quickly with the sure grip rubber-coated handle which makes it easy to grip and control with one hand. There is a push button release which is located right under the handle that you just pull up on, and thatll allow you to move your handle to move up or down. And this tie-down strap also have dual safety locks which is a cut out on each side of the housing and thatll allow you to move your handle into a lock position.
They also have a vinyl-coated steel S-hook which will help protect your cargo from any scratches. Now this part number does include the angled mounting brackets. And what these brackets do, they will allow you to convert your ratchet straps to a fixed position tie-down. They are ideal for wall-mount, like on a wall, or floor-mount. And the mounting hardware is included.
So when you attach your ratchet strap to your angle mounting bracket, thatll keep your ratchet strap at a 45-degree angle and up off the floor or the wall. Will make it easier to access your ratchet. Ratchet strap does have a corrosion-resistant steel body. The webbing for the strap is a seatbelt quality polyester webbing. It is all covered with a sturdy plastic housing and on the inside is a stainless-steel spring.
The dimension on the strap, it would be 2 inches wide by 6 feet long. Does have a maximum load strength or breaking strength of 2500 pounds. And the actual safe working load limit would be 1/3 of that which is 833 pounds. This part number does include the 2 ratchet straps, the angle mounting bracket, and the mounting hardware. It does have a one year limited warrantee.
And I just a quick demonstration on the ratchet strap, how it operates. Is if you pull the release, move the handle in the upright position, thatll release the strap and allow it to extend out. It does retract back automatically. So if you extend your S-hook out and attach it to a tie-down point, itll keep constant tension on your cargo. When you pull the release, move your handle into your ratchet position. That will allow you to tighten up your ratchet over your cargo. Once you get it into the tightened position, just pull the release; move it into the safety lock position and thatll keep everything tight over your cargo. When it comes time to remove your cargo, just pull up on the release and move it to the upright position, thatll release the strap. Remove the S-hook from your tie-down point and itll retract back into your housing. This part does come with a 1 year limited warrantee. And that should do it for part number IMF18800-77.
