Large or small items, naked roofs or vehicles with roof racks - this all-weather cargo bag handles it all. It unzips to expand, mounts to your roof with straps and hooks, and has a unique print pattern that stands out in a crowd...or a parking lot.
This versatile cargo bag is great for any excursion in any vehicle from your stable. The bag mounts to a naked roof, roof rack or raised side rails with steel-reinforced hooks, buckles and straps.
The bag is expandable from 9 to 12 cubic feet of storage space simply by unzipping the side flaps. You can compress the bag as needed for easier storage or for transporting smaller loads.
Constructed from all-weather material, this bag keeps your gear protected from the elements. It has taped seams and 2-1/2 inch flaps over the zippers to improve water resistance. And the padded, anti-skid bottom prevents the bag from shifting around and from scratching and scuffing your vehicle's roof.
The buckles have built-in bottle openers for when you arrive at your destination, and the straps feature tabs to bundle excess length and prevent flapping in the wind.
FarOut includes a set of extended straps that can be used to mount the bag to a naked roof. The straps loop through your vehicle's interior to anchor the bag to the roof.
FarOut comes with convenient grab handles on all four sides to make it easy to pull the bag down from your roof. The grab handles also come in handy when you're hoisting a loaded bag onto the roof.
This cargo bag will stand out in a crowd or in a crowded parking lot thanks to a unique, topographical print pattern.
FarOut has oversize pull tabs that make zipping and unzipping the bag easy, even when it is mounted on your vehicle's roof.

This Yakima rooftop carrier is recommended for bare roofs. It does however come without a rubberized pad to protect the paint and through-the-car straps are a very poor solution. It should be sold with roof-edge hooks. Other than that, a nice bag.69455

We traveled from NH to Ohio. Unfortunately, it rained all the way. We did have dampness on a good bit of our items. We think the water came through around the zipper area. The Yakima is not 100% waterproof. The Yakima was easy to pack and it is very easy to store. We connected it to the side bars on the SUV. We did tie it down with additional rope, criss-crosssing the rope over the top. The picture of the item is definitely not how it looked when we had the Yakima nearly filled. Lastly, having the Yakima on top did not change the gas mileage that we got on the trip. 21860
