Endcaps easily install on the same brackets that your keel, spool or bow rollers are mounted to. Just attach each endcap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket, and then secure the endcap in place with a cap nut (or pal nut). Not only do the endcaps provide more surface area for better boat-to-trailer contact, but they also help to keep your boat from being scratched by sharp bracket edges.

Today we're going to review part no YR130-4. This is a Yates endcap for boat trailer rollers. This end cap will mount to a keel roller, a spool roller or a bow roller on your boat trailer. It provides additional surface area for improved boat to roller contact. This is constructed of a heavy-duty rubber material, it is made in the USA. These endcaps, they install on the same brackets that your keel, or your spool or your bow rollers are mounted to.
You will just attach each end cap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket and then it is held in place with a cap nut or a pal nut. These endcaps do provide more surface area for better boat to trailer contact and help keep your boat from being scratched by sharp bracket edges. A few dimensions we're going to do on this is the diameter of the end cap will be 3 inches. The height of the end cap will be 1 1/4 inches and it is designed to fit on a roller with a 1/2-inch diameter shaft. And that should do it for part no.

I purchased these 3 different rollers from etrailer, good quality rubber, very reasonable shipping rate. The 1/2" thru hole measures .560

I needed to replace the rollers on my jet ski trailer, but I had to replace them with rubber ones as the ones on my trailer were hard plastic and were rubbing away the finish on my ski. I am in Australia and was not able to find these in rubber anywhere at a reasonable price til I cam across etrailer. I received them today after sending them via my parcel forwarding company and I am very happy with what I got.
These caps were a fraction wide for my trailer, so with a little drilling out they fit great and just what I wanted!

Updating my 20+ year-old trailer it was a no brainer to get these parts. I was concerned about their quality as these were a lot cheaper than other sources. When they arrived I looked them over right away and they were perfect - precise molding with no excess "flashing", just what I needed. AND they were 1/2 price from the other sources.
Needed a few things for my boat trailer. E-Trailer had them and for a reasonable price. Will look here first the next time I need triler parts.
The front bow roller on my trailer was pretty beat up etrailer had all the parts needed to repair and a fast turnaround and great pricing!
I have not installed the Bow Roller and Endcap at this time but, they look identical to the ones I have on my Boat and they are the same brand also. I'm pleased with what I have received and I know that they will just fine.
