Guide-on posts make it easy to load your boat onto your trailer and back your trailer down the ramp. They attach to the rear of your trailer and extend out of the water, providing visual targets to center the boat between during loading.

Guide Your Boat Into and Out of the Water with Ease
When your boat trailer has been backed down the ramp and is partially submerged, these 40" tall guideposts that are mounted on the rear corners of the frame will stick out of the water, giving you 2 highly visible targets to guide your boat between for loading. The PVC pipes also provide a visual aid to help you back your boat trailer down the ramp when you're unloading and loading your boat.
Installation
The posts are simple to install. Slide the PVC pipes over the pre-galvanized steel support posts. Then mount the posts on the top or below the trailer frame, as close to the rear corners as possible. Adjust the posts so that the distance between each post and your boat is less than 1".
Pre-Galvanized Steel
Pre-galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel after it has already been galvanized. The edges of pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating (less than 1 mil) and the fact that the edges remain exposed, pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so it's recommended that they be primed and painted.

The gloss black PVC tubes were severely marred due to poor packaging. Everything in the box was unprotected, no wraps, no tie downs or styrofoam to prevent or protect the contents from handling and shipping damage. The order was received 7-3-23. The order number is

I reported and provided photos of damage to the two gloss black PVC pipes. I recieved one replacement. Will not do business with this company again. I will still have to buy another piece in order to correct the shipping damage.

This was my first experience with buying from trailer and was not disappointed. I purchased a set of 40” Heavy Duty Black Post-Style Guide-Ons for my Tracker Pro-170 bass boat and item was received exactly as described on the web site and shown in the videos. Working well...I did have to secure the bottom of the guides to the trailer because the styrofoam padding tended to make them float up and off the metal posts as the boat was backed into deeper water.

These will help a lot when backing my trailer and dinghy. My trailer was built from a CE Smith kit and the boat is an inflatable dinghy. They sit very low and I can’t see them when backing down a ramp. Product was easy to install and is sturdy. I expect to get many years of service from it.

These guide ons are great. After putting them off for years I got fed up trying to fight the wind and current while putting my boat on the trailer by myself. These quickly solved that problem. Money well invested. Easy to mount on my trailer and stays put. I'll never again have a boat trailer without them.

Im considering buying a second set of these guide ons. You just cant go wrong with these. Loading my boat onto the trailer in any wind or current is easy and it doesnt seem to matter how deep the trailer sits in the water at the ramp. Guides the boat perfectly on the bunks and stays there.

Great product. I have a 16’ light bass boat. In high winds the boat would drift over the top of a fender if the trailer was in water too deep. I bolted 4 of these on my boat. 2 on the back rails and two in the forward middle of the trailer. Now the wind is no problem. When the boat starts to blow off coarse, the rails keep it perfectly centered.

My trailer and boat disappeared behind my truck while towing it. These guide-ons will not only assist me in loading from the water, but combined with the light mounting brackets, I now have a visual in my rear mirrors while I'm driving. Installation was a breeze! I invested in an electrician's snake, that aided tremendously in passing the wires down the PVC posts and staying out of the angled tubes.

The Post Guide-Ons arrived quickly and have been installed.
They have not been water tested yet, but look like they will do the trick. Loading the boat on the trailer has been challenging when you can’t tell where you are side to side.
A couple things to consider: The width of the boat relative to the frame of the trailer make the bottom tubes of the guides just barely long enough. I believe it will work, but another inch of tube would be good for my setup. When installing, if you have a deep socket, you won’t have to switch to an open wrench. Other than that, I am very happy with these!

We recieved the product and within 1 hr. It was on the hardest part was tightening the bolts drop the u bolts on in a x pattern match the bolts up with the plate put channel in and tighten

I have put these on every boat I've owned. You can't see the trailer in the water. Very difficult to line up without these. Especially with wind.
