We already have our bike rack and our bike secured to our vehicle. We're first going to check our hatch here. We're going to make sure that we're able to gain partial, if not full, access. Now this is gonna be a great choice if you happen to have some kind of cargo system on the back of your vehicle already, but you're still wanting to take one of your bikes out with you. What is going on, everybody Adam here, with etrailer. Today we have a 2015 Toyota Forerunner, and we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack hybrid roof mounted, fat bike bike rack. So this one's going to be a little unique compared to some of the other options that you have on your website. This one's just going to give you about 45 pounds per bike weight capacity. Some of the other ones that you have options for on our website, only give you about 35 pounds capacity with factory crossbars. But with aftermarket crossbars, they say 45.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner well be test fitting the Rocky Mount tie rod stretch roof mounted bike carrier, part #RKY1011. Well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles load bars. Well go ahead and start with the rear bracket. Well loosen up one of the allen bolts to bring the rear bracket around the underside of the rear load bar. Well insert the allen bolt through the hole in the bottom of the bracket and tighten it down with the allen wrench. Well now move to the head of the carrier where well remove the black plastic cover. Well slide the carrier back to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the front load bar. Well then use the included allen key to tighten down the silver bolt to bring the straps up around tightly against the front load bar.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner well be test fitting the Yakima front loader roof mounted bike carrier, part #Y02103. To begin our test fit well place the carrier onto the vehicles cross bars. Well slide the head of the carrier onto the front cross bar and bring the back bracket around the rear cross bar. Up at the head of the carrier turn the black T-handle to pinch the clamps together, securing the head of the carrier to the front cross bar. Well then move to the rear of the carrier where we will tighten the black wing nut to secure the rear part of the carrier to the rear cross bar. Now with the front loader secured to our 4runner were ready to load up our bike. Well fold out the front part of the wheel hook and undo the tray strap. Well place the bike onto the carrier and roll it forward bringing the back part of the wheel hook up behind the front tire.

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner well be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. Well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles crossbars. Well bring the back bracket around the rear crossbar and insert the t-bolt into the opening of the bracket. Well then loosen up the black wing nut at the head of the carrier to bring the bracket around the front crossbar. Well reinsert our silver tbolt and tighten down the black wing nut to secure the head of the carrier to the front crossbar. Well then remove our skewer to slide up the black security cover, and then replace our skewer making sure it is kind of loose to prepare us to load our bike.



Whispbar Roof Mount Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner well be test fitting the Whispbar Rooftop Bike Carrier, part number wb-200. Well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles crossbars. With the latches undone, well slide the t-bolts into the rubber tracking of our roof rack. Well then adjust the rear as well to fit the rear crossbar. Now our vehicle is equipped with a Whispbar Roof Rack so we wont be needing the round bar adapter. Once the t-bolts are in the rubber channel, we can then clamp down the silver levers which will turn the t-bolts inside of the rubber channel and secure the bike rack to the vehicle.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number TH513. We'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's load bars. Using the Allen key, we'll loosen up the Allen bolts for the rear bracket to bring the rear bracket on the underside of the rear load bar. We'll then need to remove the skewer up at the front to expose the two front Allen bolts. We'll then loosen up the Allen bolts to bring the front bracket around the underside of the front load bar. Once both brackets are in position, we can then again use the Allen key to tighten on the Allen bolts to bring the brackets up around tightly against the load bars.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number S64710. We'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll take the silver bracket and slide it down through the carrier on top of the rear load bar. Now moving up to the front, we'll take the two silver brackets and go underneath the front load bar and into the carrier. We'll then thread on the black wing nuts down on top of the bracket to secure the front of the carrier to the front load bar. We'll then move to the rear of the carrier where we will slide the black plate onto the bracket and use the included wing nuts to tighten it down.

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier in black, part number RKY1012. We'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll loosen up the wing nuts for the rear bracket to bring the rear bracket on the other side of the rear load bar. We'll tighten the wing nuts loosely and move to the front of the carrier where we'll remove the black plastic cover. We'll slide the carrier back to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the other side of the front load bar. We'll hook the straps back into the top of the bracket and use the included Allen key to turn the silver bolt to bring the straps around tightly against the front load bar.
