Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit of the B&W Tow and Stow 3 ball mount for 2 inch hitches. This has a 9 inch drop and a 9.5 inch rise. It's rated at 10000 pounds. The part number is BWTS10050B. We've already got our ball mount installed, as you can see. Going to go ahead and go over a few measurements with you with here, so you can keep that in mind. From the center of the hitch pin hole on our Frontier to the edge of where our ball mount sits, we have about 10.5 inches.

Before I begin our test fit well first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle which is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. With the ball mount platform in its lowest position we can measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about 7-1/4 inches. We can now flip the ball mount over to the rise position and with the ball mount platform in its highest position we can again measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about 25-1/4 inches. Now, if your vehicle's hitch height matches our's, and your trailer's ride height is on or in between these two measurement in 1-inch increments, this should be an appropriate ball mount for you.
