Speaker 1: Today in our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be showing you how to install the bolt tailgate handle with bolt lock. Part number is BL5922987. Here's what the bolt lock tailgate's going to look like installed. As you can see, it's almost a carbon copy of what a factory bezel and handle's going to look like, even down to the finish that we have here on the truck. Very, very closely matches the finish that we have on the bezel. Now the additional benefit that we're going to get out of this versus a standard factory tailgate, is that we've got a lock built in.As you can see, our tailgate, inoperable at this point.



Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, we'll be installing the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock, part number VGM-07-4000. Now, we'll go hook up to a gooseneck trailer, so you can see what it's like with the tailgate there. Has a nice included lock so we can lock it in place. As you can see along this edge and this edge over here, we have a very factory-like appearance, very like our original tailgate, fits very nicely. We have these nice slats right here, so we can have air flowing through it, so we don't hurt our fuel economy quite as bad as we would with a normal tailgate in the upright position. The first thing we need to do is remove our tailgate. Now, if your tailgate has the included backup camera in it right by the handle, you'll need to unplug that first. You'll find a connection for that behind where your license plate is.

What's up everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the DeeZee Custom Fit Tailgate Assist on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. So, my dad bought a new pickup and he doesn't like how the tailgate just flaps down real loud. It's not good on the components. So, I told them it's kind of a no brainer to grab the DeeZee Custom Fit Tailgate Assist. This is just gonna prevent all of that stress happening on all these different joints, in the cable and everything.



Husky Liners Tailgate Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be installing the Husky Liners Premium 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Locking Handle, part number HL15240. As you can see, our tailgate fits very nicely on our vehicle. It has a nice, contoured look, and follows the lines of our bed nicely. Now, if we want to secure our tailgate, it is locking, so we can insert the key, turn it counter-clockwise, remove the key, and now the handle can't be opened and it'll secure our tailgate onto our vehicle to prevent theft. Now, when we want to open our tailgate again, just insert the key, turn it clockwise, remove the key. We'll pull back on the handle and lower the tailgate on down. As you can see, it'll allow us to easily tow our 5th Wheel trailer without having to worry about when we're making turns, having possible damage to our tailgate.

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to show you how to install the Stromberg Carlson 4000 series 5th wheel louvered tailgate with lock, part number is VGM-07-4000. As you can see we have a nice snug fit here. The fully adjustable end caps are going to allow us to really give it a really nice customized look. You can see that the gate's going to follow right along with the contours of the truck, gives it a really like a factory or original equipment look. What the gate's got to offer. We're going to have that nice low drop whether we're trying to back up to a goose neck trailer, a 5th wheel trailer, we're not going to have to worry about getting in and out and closing the gate, opening the gate, allows it to pass over very nicely. It's going to have e ventilated or an open design.

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate with Open Design. Part Number is VGM-07-100. Now, here's what our gate looks like installed. As you can see, it's a really nice looking addition to the back of the truck ere. It is going to have the open design. It's going to allow for great visibility behind the truck. Sometimes maneuvering, parking, things like that can be an issue with that gate closed.

This tailgate's made out of plastic. It's blow-molded for light weight. It's strong as steel, and it replaces your OEM tailgate. It's ideal for towing a 5th wheel or a gooseneck. Today on our 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at an installing the Strongberg-Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate with open design for GM trucks. Part number VGM-99-100. This is vented steel design. It's made out of tubular steel that's powder coated. Being vented, it's going to help with wheel efficiency and the wind drag. It's going to help bring up your gas mileage a little bit.
