Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent - Aluminum - 13-1/2" x 8"
This vent was bought to replace one of the roof vents on my recently purchased used horse trailer. The top section of the existing vent was completely missing so rain could come right on in. It was easy enough to remove the damaged vent. Took a bit of elbow grease to remove the old sealant off the roof. The new vent is EXACTLY the size needed and installing it took less than an hour. Now the vent is fully functional once again and no more rain coming straight into the trailer either!
I replaced all 4 rusted and broken vents. The new vents with rubber gaskets fit perfectly, used the same holes. A very easy install, maybe 1.5 hrs.

MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift - 10 Speed - Smoke
Put this in to get heat out of semi. Open side vent and turn fan on high exhaust wow what a game changer.
Initially I was real apprehensive about getting this fan installed on my 16’ Casita. Not because I didn’t want the fan, believe me I did. The specifications alone were impressive, but the ability to run it like a ceiling fan, with the vent closed was hands down the most impressive feature. Something my little Dachshund Cinnamon would surely attest to. The front mounted ac unit in the 16’ Casita benifits greatly from this fan, it circulates the air better, cools things quicker and, helps maintain the temperature better. There is little information about putting this on a Casita, much less a 16’ one, but I’m happy with my decision to do so. This fan is awesome, and Etrailer was very helpful with information on my purchase. Another note was that I’m happy Terry my installer did this project, the factory installed Fan was riveted in from the top, and removing it wouldn’t have been a typical by the book procedure. Thanks George J. I’m one happy camper, and that’s without mentioning the remote control, air flow on low settings, great price, fast delivery, or quietness of the product. Sincerely, A. McCord Sgt. US Army Ret.

Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - 6-1/4" Diameter - Smoke
Hello all. I have a 1973 Apache Pop up, the original vent was missing so I looked online for a replacement and I came across this ventline vanaire roof vent, the vent fit perfectly in the original location of the old vent . This pop up has hard sides when you bring the roof down the side walls meet in the center but leave a gap between each other the handle for the vent fits perfectly in the gap. This memorial weekend we vacationed at Lake Isabella and it gets windy when the vent was closed it stayed closed no matter how strong the wind was. It was a success and worked perfectly. Thanks and I am a happy camper.
I bought this 6" fan a year ago and it is still going strong. I mounted it vertically on the rear wall of my van conversion boxvan(RV Off-Grid Campervan) about 7" from the ceiling. It was a good fit because I didn't want to cut a hole in my roof and my ceiling. It pulls all of the hot air out of the room within less than a minute. If you want to mount yours vertically as well it will operate just fine with no flaws. Water has never leaked through the unit at all even while mounted on the wall instead of the roof. I recently recommended this fan to someone who needed a fresh air fan for summer as well in a van. Perfectly satisfied with this fan, recommend it and would buy again if the need arises! Thank You

MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - Smoke
MaxxAir fan arrived on time. Installation was easy, just follow the enclosed instructions. Hardest part was removing the old vent, that takes the most time. Total time start to finish was about 3 hours. Unit is good quality and workmanship. Very quiet running and easy to operate.
I installed this myself on a vintage camper. It fit perfect in the space where the old vent was. Wiring was simple, and cutting down the bezel was easy. I have left this open for months and even in storms and no rain gets in. Being able to keep it open keeps the camper from getting musty. I also like the tinted skylight effect it gives.

MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White
I have two of these installed in our stepvan - they were one of the first things we installed during the build process, and thank goodness we did because they kept us cooler during the summer build. Easy to use, the multiple-fan settings are nice, and the exhaust feature can pull a lot of air. We don't have AC, so these fans make a huge difference in pulling out hot air and replacing with outside air. Great service from etrailer - I ordered the wrong fan the first time and they were great to work with in getting another shipped out to me.
Installed this 15 months ago, worked pretty well, bearings make some noise, and fan has slight wobble, but worse-off, just this week began to turn on by itself, and via the control panel would sometimes turn off when I pressed the power button, but most buttons just don't do anything when pressed. I had to disconnect the power, then re-connect, and, at first, it would be okay, but now it just stays on at a high speed when connected to power and unable to change anything on it, power, speed, direction. > > Now it just turns on when I connect power, and none of the control panel buttons do anything. > > It is connected to 12 V system 2 100 ah lithium batteries to buss bar and fuse box. >What a shame at over $200 you would think this would last at least 3-5 years. But, I suppose these days of cheap manufacturing and execs making more top dollar, well, we consumers pay the price. > What can be done to fix this control panel issue?

MaxxAir Standard Roof Vent Cover - 20" x 19" x 9-1/2" - Translucent White
Before I installed both vent covers I took picks and then the installed both took about an hour and a half. Everything worked out great as a matter of fact I can open both vent tops all the way. Here are some picks. All installation instructions were dead on Video was the best. Thanks ,job well done on both ends.
We needed some MaxxAirs for a new 5th wheel that we purchased. We knew from having them on a previous camper that they are good products. eTrailer has been a trustworthy place to order and get knowledgeable information from in the past. I had found a really good deal on the MaxxAirs at a different site, and contacted eTrailer. They stuck to their 110% price match policy and beat the other price. Quick shipping and good service on top of the best price. Can't beat it!

Vent Cover for Ventline Old Style Rounded Dome Trailer Roof Vents - White
The order was processed quickly and I was kept informed on the status with e-mails. Vent cover installation and fit up was easy. The mate up of the existing open/close mechanism was a little "fussy". But a re-review of the included instructions confirmed the correct orientation. After I applied a small amount of grease to the friction retaining clip and slide, it was working as good as new.
Pleasantly pleased with this vent cover. Its fit over the roof opening of our 20 year old hay trailer was a bit tight so the plastic dome wouldn't descend flush to the trailer roof. It seemed the closing edge opposite the hinge was bowed inward a little. (Might have been compressed during shipping, but the outside of the box was not damaged). Anyway, I was able to gently bend it outward without damage using a channel lock on the supporting galvanized brace which runs from the hinge to the opposite side. The excellent instructional video attached to the dome part on etrailer's digital shopping catalogue was very helpful. I changed the screen too. I was able to find an older style screen on the Walmart website which did not require me to drill a new hole for the crank handle as demonstrated in the instructional video on the etrailer.com site. At half the price as etrailer's screen and double the shipping cost from Walmart, cost for replacing my vent dome was a horse apiece. Thanks etrailer. I'm very happy.

Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Smoke
Vent was easy to install, really didn't need the instructions. I would have appreciated a template for the hole though. That way I can just throw the template up and cut along it. A recommendation to reinforce the underside with something (I used 2x2s) might be helpful as well. You do say to align it with a joist, but who's really going to have multiple joists within 14 1/2" from each other? Otherwise, it looks great. I figured you have multiple images of the vent itself so I figured an image of how I reinforced it would be the most helpful for future installers. Thank you. Aaron
This product got great reviews, and I'm not sure why. I was very disappointed in this vent. First, etrailer shipped it with the sealant on top of the unit and damaged it (still haven't heard back from them). Aside from that, the unit is supposed to be smoke. I thought some light inside my pop-up would be nice, and maybe the white unit I had before wouldn't look so dirty all the time if it was smoke. Outside it looks gray. Inside it looks blue. When the sun shines on it, it makes the inside of the trailer look rather depressing and blue. The lid itself is very flimsy, and flexes in the wind. While traveling, the flex allowed the vent to come out of the channel even while fully closed. It was a fun in-camp fix and I was thankful it didn't rain. The seal that goes around the rim does not stay on, and I am constantly pushing it back down (removing the screen to do so, reaching my arm through the hole and pushing it back on). IF I keep this thing, I will replace that lumpy weatherstripping with my own. Note: The new garnish (trim) did not work with my popup. I used my old garnish and cleaned it up with plastic polish and it worked well. It wouldn't have worked as well if I broke the old trim, so keep all your parts if you decide to get this thing. I didn't see any alternatives for the price on etrailer, but may shop around if the lid comes apart again on my next trip out.

Worked great to replace the weather worn original.
Good product, easy to install.

Camco RV Refrigerator Vent Cover - Base Only
Good product, easy to install.
This refrigerator vent cover and base were a replacement for our 20 year old truck camper. It came predrilled, which didn't match up to our existing holes, so we had to make a template and drill new holes. When we installed, I added extra silicone sealant between the mating surfaces to fill the holes. The instructions were basically useless, because the vent cover fits 2 different kinds of bases, the D base and the N base. We had the N base, but the instructions used the D and N in the same instruction, which left me scratching my head and subsequently throwing them away. It fit very nicely, and is more streamlined than the original. I would have given it 5 stars, but for the holes and the instructions.

Camco Replacement Lid for Ventline and Elixir RV Roof Vents - Polycarbonate - White
Roof vent arrived about a week earlier than expected and was packaged well to prevent damage. The part felt much sturdier than the original equipment vent that it replaced. Installation was quick and easy after watching the video.very pleased with the part and etrailer.
These replacement lids are well made, strong, and easy to install. The directions that are printed on the box were most helpful. The vent lids that were on the trailer got smashed by a falling limb from a tree near where it was parked. The web site was very helpful in helping determine the kind of hinge that is on the vents on the trailer.

Metal Low Profile Replacement Cover
I waited several months before writing a review so that I could make sure this replacement cover didn't leak. It hasn't! It was really easy to install which I did myself. For reference, I'm a 53 year old woman. Our trailer is an enclosed aluminum trailer, and this cover fit perfectly.
The cover came very quickly and securely in the mail, very durable, well constructed and stream-lined. Installed fairly easily with your on line installation Tudors. Unfortunately my base has a different type hinge, so a few minor challenges, but for the most part doable. I still need to find a friction clip to secure my top to the actuator mechanism, but hopefully I can find it locally. Our Arizona sun destroys most plastics as our original cover had failed in about five years. I am very pleased with my new cover top, looking to it meeting and exceeding our needs!

Replacement Vent Cover for Valterra RV Battery Box Vent - 1-3/4" Hose Opening - Black
Worked well installed 4 vents to Rubbermaid 68-litre tote used to store my 30-Amp Hughes Autoformer rectifier in line to my Lance RV Travel Trailer
Great product, exactly what I was looking for. My roof tox box for windsurfing equipment was getting far too hot inside living on Maui. I placed 10 of the vents around the box by drilling a 2 1/2 inch hole and glewing the vents from the inside. This way I only have a clean hole showing from the outside and installation is very easy. Box is around 30 degreees F cooler now and air circultaion also takes care of the moisture.

Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4"
The 2250 Fantastic Fan still working great after a year! Pretty quiet and the thermostat is a handy feature that works well. In my application, it has a tendency to open itself while driving around unless it has been cranked down fairly hard. Driving with it open doesn't seem to be a problem other than the outside noise that comes in that way. My application was a fiberglass raised top on a Chevy van. I had to make a wood frame as the fiberglass did not provide a flat surface to mount to. Photos below show inside frame, fan, and insulation.
This is my second Fantastic Fan. I thought I'd try an amazon/China knockoff but sent it back as it had no thermostat and decided I want to by AMERICAN products for the most part when I can. I have had a FF in my Lance camper for ten years and it works great. Just put this new one in a Keystone trailer I just bought. I expect the same reliability from this quality name.

Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4"
The (2)fan lid black plastic mounting bosses broke as if they had deteriored in the sun. This lower the lift arm to flop down and keep the lid from opening. Trying to figure a method to repair.
Absolute waste. It seems like when the company was sold they changed the programming and instead of fixing it or giving customers an option (read: a simple switch!) they made it so the rain sensor just shuts it permanently absolutely destroying any usefulness of the rain sensor. Customer service doesn't even understand the problem (e.g. getting up at 3 am because of a 2 minute rain at midnight to cycle the fan power) or alternative uses (e.g. using the fan to prevent overheating for longer periods- an all day hike). It now just closes permanently a the first drop of rain instead of reopening when the sensor is dry. I literally ripped this brand new fan out two weeks after install and a year later it's still sitting on my workbench because I refuse to hobble someone else with this absolute piece of garbage before I get a chance to override the problem with an FRM01 12v relay computer. I haven't bothered because 1. I have a better fan (the old version I was lucky enough to find) 2. this one has a chimney which sits up 2" higher 3. the new motor is weak enough that even if nothing else was wrong it would still be a mediocre fan. The old model has a horizontal front hinge and a black motor housing that extends into the lid. Beware a lot of images of the old model are still used in listings for the new model.

Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4"
I love the fan. I had a manual one in the trailer I purchased and I couldn't reach it without a stool. I am 75 and that wasn't going to work
Installation was easy and a perfect fit for my 2021 Airstream 16RB (replacing a 3 speed Fan-Tastic unit). I like the speed range of this fan, and how quiet it is when set to 50% and lower, big improvement. However, all the other features (rain sensor, temperature setting, reversible direction), not so impressed with. I don't like the fact the fan turns on at full speed every time I switch on the battery disconnect (applying 12v power). Why is this necessary? I also have a hard time determining which direction fan is pushing air (pulling air into the trailer does not produce strong air flow), and maybe the vent cover is preventing good air flow. It would be nice if there was an LED on the remote or unit to indicate direction (forward or reverse). I know that sounds silly, but I put my hand up to the unit and can't feel which direction the air is flowing, it's just moving around. I ignored recommendations to go with a Max Air unit, and if I had it to do over, I would install a Max Air instead with built-in cover. I may even do that anyway just to have a better fan and cleaner look.
