Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to go over one of the main features of our rack, which is going to be our tilting feature. We're going to have a lever here at the bottom. That blue lever is going to allow us to tilt it as well as fold it.



Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rouge, we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex hitch mounted four-bike rack, part number TH9029. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. We'll line up our pin holes,tread our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down witha wrench. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over and do clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 14inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about two inches and we've added about eightinches to the overall length of our Nissan with the cradle arms down.



Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero Hitch-Mounted 2 Bike Rack part number TH9042. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch, allowingthe integrated hitch pin to fall into place, and we'll then turn the black knob to engage the anti-rattle device. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 18 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack, and we've added about 15 inches to the overall length of our Nissan. We can now lift up on the gray lever at the top of the mast and swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out, we've added about 23 and a half inches to the overall length of our Nissan. To access the cargo area, we can lift up the gray lever at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down.



Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Titan. Hitch-mounted four-bike rack, part number S63410. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. We'll thread in the anti ridal 00:13 bolt, and tighten it down using a wrench. With the bike rack secure, we'll go ahead and bring out our cradle arms. We can do this by lifting up on the black lever of the mast, and swing in the mouth. To access the cargo area, we can lift up at the black lever at the base of the bike rack, and tilt the mast down. As you can see, we can easily gain access to the rear hatch.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the SwagMan Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64710. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U-bolts around the underside of our load bar, fit it back up through the platform and secure it by tightening down two wing nuts. We'll do this for both sides here at the front of our bike rack. At the rear, we'll take our U-bolt and drop it through the top of our bike rack, making sure it goes around our rear load bar. We'll then install our black metal plate, making sure our bolts come through the holes, securing it by tightening down two wing nuts. With the front and rear secure, we'll go ahead and undo our rear wheel strap and make sure our skewer at the front is loose.



SportRack Hitch Platform 4 Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting this SportRack Platform Style 4-bike Rack, part number SR2902. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch, while threading the anti-rattle bolts and tighten it down using a wrench. With the bike rack secured, we'll go ahead and swing out our dual arms. We'll remove the pin at the top of the mast and swing out the cradle arms, re-securing it with the pin. To access the cargo area, we can pull the pin at the base of the carrier and tilt the mast down. As you can see, we can easily gain access to the rear hatch. To load up a bike, we'll make sure the mast is in its upright position. We'll undo the cradle straps, place our bike into the frame cradles, and then secure it with the straps. Today on our 2130 Nissan Rogue, we will be demonstrating Thule Bigmouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part #TH599XTR, with the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle. We will begin our demonstrationplacing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we'll place the T-bolt through the appropriate slot on the front clamp, and use thewingnuton top to tighten it down. We'll do this for both sides. At the rear, we'll undue one of our wing nuts so we can bring our clamp around our rear bar. We will reinsert the bolt through the metal plate, secure it by tightening down the two wing nuts.

RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod Stretch roof-mounted bike rack, part number RKY1011. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. We'll need to remove the black plastic cover here at the front and bring our straps around our front bar. We'll fit them back into the head of the carrier, and then use an Allan key to tighten the Allan bolt, which will tighten our straps around our front bar. With those tight, we can replace our black plastic cover. We'll move to the rear and take out one of the Allan bolts so we can bring our clamp around our rear bar. We'll fit the bolt back through the top, making sure it goes through the bracket, and secure it by tightening it with an Allan key.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod roof mounted bike rack, part number RKY1014. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll being our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we'll remove the black plastic cover so we can bring our straps around our front bar. We'll then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt which will tighten our straps around our front load bar. Once we have those tight we can replace the black plastic cover and move to the rear. We'll loosen up an Allen bolt so we can bring our rear clamp around our rear bar.



Rhino-Rack 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow n Go Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Rogue

Today on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow and Go Hitch Mounted three bike carrier, part number HR135. For today's test fit we'll be using the hidden hitch ball mount with an extra long shank, part number 80232. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, we'll then secure it with the pin and clip. Keep in mind, the ball mount, the pin and clip and the hitch ball are all sold separately. To load up a bike, we'll pull out the black pin in the top of the mast and swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out, we'll go ahead and undo the cradle straps and place our bike into the frame cradles. Now with our bike all loaded up.
