Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
etrailer.com was very helpful in the phone conversation that preceded my purchase. (Other than the 38 minute wait). I received the XTC-2 tilt within 4 days on standard purchase, without paying extra for shipping. This was great service. I have installed and used the XTC-2 tilt and am happy with it at this point. My 5 year old son figured out what to do to make it work (thoroughly enjoyable to watch him) and was thrilled with putting the bikes on the rack and going to the bike park. I am currently pleased with everything (except the long wait time, and difficulty finding the etrailer phone number -- which might have been obvious and i missed it) so 5 stars. It is too soon to rate the product; one needs some time to see how it holds up. Nonetheless I am pleased.
This I was not as happy with. Service was great. Delivery was great but the product QC was off and there is a design flaw in the product (that is most likely fixed by me spending more money, so thats on me.) Assembly was easy to follow however there was one big problem. The bar coming from the hitch to the rack. The metal mechanisim inside the square tube is cocked (image included) and thus lines up the threads for mounting at an angle and is a perfect setup for cross threading during installation. I managed with some work to get the pieces together (provided hex wrench + vice grips + torque bar). That said I can most likely never disassemble the product again for those threads are going to be toast and unsuable again. Mounting the rack to hitch was easy. Adjusting the setup for bike was easy. Design flaw and place I should spend more money is that once the bike is on the car I can no longer open the hatch to my car. Even if I pull the clamp bar off the rack closests to the hatch. Considering the cost of the rack I can live with this. It just means I cannot drive around with the rack always on the car and I will be pulling it off and only using it when I ride. Never time however I will be spending more to get a rack that either swings away from a hatch or has some sort of a pivot release to gain access into the car. For the money I spent this is going to work, considering the cost of some of the big name platform racks this is literally a small fraction of their price. So I cannot complain too much but that cross thread issue is not a good one.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great bike rack that works well on my 2016 Prius. Easy to use and I can still open the rear door on the Prius with the bike on the rack. I regularly take my bike when I go hiking in the Smokies to ride between trailheads. Quality product at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this product.
I had to trade in my car and was unable to get my Yakima rack out of the receiver. It went with the car but It was OK as I had developed arthritis in my wrists and hands and after careful reading, reviews, etc. , I decided I would opt for the Swagman XC 2 for my Prius C. I had no problem putting it together- it was a breeze. I promptly put my Cannondale on-board- no problem. I headed down back roads to my favorite trail at deliberate speeds of 50-55 mph. Some bounce but not much. This reasonably priced product is perfect for my needs. I did add a bungy around the seat post for my own peace of mind. I may see if I can loosen up one of the top grips as it is super tight and hard for me to squeeze- but that may just be me. Lifting the bike onto the the Swagman was a breeze. Haven't tried it with two bikes yet but I don't anticipate any problem. Thank you etrailer for your excellent service, 2nd time around and for all the available installation tips and product reviews.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Fits pretty well on our 2014 Prius, although it occasionally needs some extra attention to make sure everything's secure - which is no different than any other carriers of this type. The cradles for the top tube of the bike frame are nice. Sometimes the rubber straps that you pull over a post to secure things in place are a little tight, I wish they were stretchier. But they keep things feeling good and secure. Overall it's convenient and sturdy, works with my car, and is a good value!
This is a solid bike rack that works very well on our Prius. etrailer was an efficient vendor.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
This rack has been excellent. We transported three bicycles from MA to MN and then to Ontario on a Toyota Prius. The rack served us well.
Fits to my 2013 Prius to a Tee. So far so good. Happy with it. But noticed that the price went down a few weeks after I bought it. Bummer. Also passed up on the Whitehall rack Thule lock. Now have to buy it after further consideration

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Bought this rack because I for some reason are more comfortable (perhaps more used to) the hanging style bike rack. It reminded me of the Thule 4 bike rack that I have and like so much (at much less money). I am very pleased with quality of this rack. At first glance it appears to be built magnificently. Delivery was very speedy. Rack was packaged great with minimal assembly required.
I am unhappy with my purchase as I am unable to access my hatch on my 2013 Prius.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
We've been using this bike rack with a 1.25" Draw-Tite receiver hitch (also purchased from etrailer) on a 2012 Prius C for a month with no problems. As shown on the pictures, it fits two bikes very well, even one with a baby carrier. I chose this model based on recommendations from etrailer that it can be easily detached from the car without tools. True to their word, it is very easily detachable from the hitch and folds up nicely to fit in your garage/closet/storage area. Basically, it uses a hand tightened ball bearing mechanism to secure itself into the hitch receiver, and then uses a 3/8" hand locked pin as a safety device. You can install and de-install this rack in just a few minutes. During driving, there is little noticeable vibration from this rack, even on rougher roads or speed bumps. The only downside is that the holes on the receiver hitch do not align perfectly with the holes on the bike rack (see picture). I believe a few other reviewers also noted this issue. There is enough room to fit the safety pin, but not quite enough to fit a 1/2" hitch lock. I called Kuat to ask them about this and the rep told me that not all hitches will line up with this rack. Kuat, coincidentally(?), sells a hitch lock that is also 3/8" (same size as the safety pin) and still fits.
I looked at a lot of bike racks and the Kuat was one of the very best. Lightweight and a reasonable price. It folds nearly flat and easy to store in the trunk. I'm using on a Toyota Prius and one pleasant surprise was I can open the hatchback without moving the rack or the bikes.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Does not fit a 2019 Toyota Prius very well at all. The website says it will fit, but there is no way to hookup position B strap. I put it up at the bottom of the hatchback window, but since it is on such an extreme angle, it's wants to pull away. Plus I don't think the strap will last at this extreme angle. Otherwise, it seems like a nice rack, but just because etrailer says it fits your car doesn't mean it's going too.
Fits a 2017 Prius Two and seems well built.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
First, etrailers.com is the BEST! Okay, this rack is amazing. If it was made in the U.S.A, I believe it would be closer to $ 800.00+, it's not, thus the incredible price point, imo. Incredible craftmanship, sturdy, versatile, nice to look at, as well. Very detailed instructions included. Fits my 2015 Prius 4 perfectly. Our beach cruises both required adaptor bars. I opted to wait on the bike rack, to ensure a good fit, etc. then purchase the adaptor bars. After much research, I went with Delta adaptors, I wish etrailers.com carried them, but they do not. Nevertheless, this rack is tops, highly recommend. Thank you for reading!
Really great bike rack for my Toyota Prius C. Easy to attach, and very secure.

Appears well made out of the box. Anxious to see how it holds up to use vs. the bing names in racks.

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gray
TLDR: Awesome. Easy. Secure at 80 mph. I have really enjoyed this Kuat rack over the past year. Installation was straightforward (just crank down on that tightening bolt through the hitch!), and I can move the rack on and off the car without too much effort. The rack weighs around ~30 lbs if I recall correctly. This rack keeps my bike safe with no problem going 80 mph down I-10 across west texas or over subpar roads in town. It takes seconds to load and unload the bikes. No fidgeting for 10 minutes to secure the bike. No ratchets to come loose and drop your bike on the road behind you, which I recently saw. :/ Just quickly load up your bike(s) and go. And yes, it can all be operated one-handed while holding a bike or a bag. The tilt down mechanism is great when bikes are loaded on the rack, and I need to access my hatchback area. Otherwise, I can open the hatchback on my Prius without a problem when the rack is folded up. Prius side note: I had a 1-1/4 hitch installed for this rack. Love it! I really appreciate etrailer's videos and pricing. Thanks!
I am so glad I bought the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 hitch bike rack. It looks so good and it fits so good into my Prius. I drove with it this morning and my bike has never been so secured with the integrated locking cable and rattle free design. Assembly was also easy and it took me only thirty minutes to do it. I totally recommend this to any avid biker who is contemplating on buying a decent bike rack.

Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
The Thule Easy Fold bike rack came on time. It was easy to set up and put on our truck though it is a bit heavy. I was delighted to see they had thought to put wheels on the bottom for moving without having to carry it to the vehicle and no rattling when driving! Very sturdy and folds nicely away. It can be tricky to take off the hitch and requires a bit of lifting to loosen and slide out. The bike ramp is difficult to get to and we found it was just easier to just lift our bikes onto the platform. Definitely great for our electric bikes.
I purchased the rack and receiver hitch a year ago. Installation of the rack was made simple with the installation video that was specific to my vehicle (2020 Honda Accord). Literally took less than an hour start to finish. Only tool that I needed to buy was a torque wrench, which was about 20 bucks. It did require a very small cut in the plastic bumper that was accomplished easily with a keyhole saw. There was no drilling or other significant issues. The rack itself is awesome! My wife and I have two Lectric XP3 bikes. They weigh about 65 pounds each with battery. When we travel I revome the batteries to save a bit of weight. I have made two cross country trips (over 6000 miles) with this rack and have never had an issue. Literally every gas stop or hotel stop someone asks me about the rack and bikes. It really is that nice. My wife usually scolds me because we lose a 1/2 hour of travel time each stop to visit with complete strangers:) The rack is easy to install and remove on the receiver hitch. The lockout feature works great and gives a great deal of peace of mind. The bikes are easy to load. I don't use it, but there is a ramp that could make loading the bikes easier if a person couldn't lift the bike onto the rack. There are two arms the lock onto the frame of the bikes similar to the receiver hitch. Once locked down the bikes will not move. I would recommend ordering the longer ratchet staps if you have fat tires. I think they cost around 20 bucks but the longer straps allow for a little more flexibility in arranging bikes on the rack. I would strongly recommend this product and this company.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Toyota Prius
Speaker 1: Today on our 2007 Toyota Prius we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Semi 2.0 2-bike platform rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number S64686. We have a bike already installed on our rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How it actually attaches to the rack, we'll have two points of contact. We're going to have a wheel hook up at the front, which is pretty nice because it doesn't make you buy any extra accessories such as an adaptor bar as you would for a frame mount. Plus, it's a lot easier on your carbon frame bikes as well. It also has an integrated cable lock, which is a new feature for this model that wraps around the frame of the bike and attaches to itself at the front here to deter theft.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Toyota Prius
Today on our 2007 Toyota Prius, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule T2 Pro XTB platform-style two-bike rack. This is for inch-and-a-quarter hitches. That's part number TH9035XT. Now, it's also available in silver, if you're interested in that, on part number TH9035XTS. I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. Please keep note, this is going to work for either class-one or class-two hitches.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Toyota Prius
Today on our 2007 Toyota Prius, we're going to be test fitting the Kuat NV 2.0 platform rack for inch and a quarter hitches, part number NV12G. We already have a bike installed on the rack so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I'd like to show off is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached. To do that, we'll come to the front here to this lever, pull it towards us and holding on the bike rack, you come down gently and now we have full access to our rear hatch to get what we need. To put it back in it's original position just lift up. And you're good to go. How this bike actually attaches to the rack, there's going to be two points of contact. We're going to have this padded wheel hook up at the front and this wheel strap at the rear. Now the wheel strap is adjustable along the arm here to accommodate different sized bikes.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Toyota Prius
Today on our 2007 Toyota Prius, we are going to be test fitting the RockyMounts SplitRail 2 bike rack, part number RKY1130. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The most prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bikes still attached. To do that, we have this switch up at the front underneath. You pull it towards you and it will tilt away. This is pretty nice considering that most bike racks that have this tilt feature, the lever is actually underneath the front bike which can make it a little bit awkward when you have 2 bikes installed.
Thule Raceway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2007 Toyota Prius
Today on our 2007 Toyota Prius, we're going to test fitting the Thule Raceway Truck Mounted 3 Bike Rack. Part number TH9002XT. To begin our test fit, we'll go ahead and set our fit dials to number 7 and that's per the manufacturer's instructions. Once we have the aero indicator lined up with number 7, we can close those levers and then place this under our vehicle. Now we already cleaned the surfacing where our bike rack makes contact. You want to be sure to work on a nice clean surface to avoid any damage to the finish of your vehicle. With the lower arm in the bottom of the license plate well and the top arm resting gently, just here at the bottom of the glass. We're ready to set out top hooks. In order to do that, we'll pull up on the lever that has the aero point up for our top hook and then we can extend out our retractable cable. We'll go ahead and fit it at the top of our door and then we'll go ahead and tighten that strap down, that way it'll hold our bike rack in place and allows to tighten other straps. We can repeat this process for the other side. We do find it a little bit easier to go in from the corner of the hatch door and then move to the hook to the proper position. Once we have those wheels here on the end tight, to secure our straps, we can repeat that process for our bottom hooks. Now we do need to open our rear hatch door just a little bit to allow us to place in those bottom hooks.

We'll then place the bike rack up onto the vehicles rear hatch. We'll then loosen up the strap and put the top clips on the top portion of the rear hatch.
