- Will CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Cable, # CTEK56380 Work with Dual Batteries
- There are 2 ways that batteries can be connection: in parallel or in series. If the batteries are in parallel they will have 12 volts output. If they are in series then they put out the combined voltage (two 12 volt batteries would put out 24 volts). Provided that the batteries are connected in parallel and have an output of 12 volts then you can use the CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Cable, # CTEK56380. If the batteries are in a series then you would need one for each battery.

- The CTEK Battery-Health Indicator you referenced features a rubber plug to exclude moisture and dirt from the connector where the charger would plug in, but I wanted to call CTEK to ensure that the item would hold up when installed in an area where it would be exposed to the weather.
According to the fine folks at CTEK, installing the Indicator to the outside of the trailer would be perfectly acceptable and should work just fine for you.
