Today we are going to review part number 19260, the chrome hitch ball with 1-7/8 inch diameter and medium sized shank from Tow Ready. The shank length on this hitch ball is 2-1/8 inches and the diameter is 1 inch. It has wrench flats on the side, so you can hold it it place tightly while you install it on the draw bar.
Because it is chrome, this hitch ball resists rust and corrosion and it should last a long time. It comes with a 1-1/2 inch nut. And you install it on a draw bar that is 1/2 to 1 inch thick. It has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. You want to get it on there as tight as you can and then torque it down to 250 foot pounds.

I placed an order at 3:30pm on a Sunday. Within 10 minutes I received a call that one of the parts would not work with the other part. I called back and they fixed it. I received the shipment on Wednesday. I wish all places had this level of customer service. Any other place would have just sent the parts as I ordered them, then I wouldn't have found out the problem until I received the shipment and would have had to send part back and order new part.
