Changing your hitch ball size is as easy as pushing out the integrated pin.
No need to get out the heavy wrenches. Convert-A-Ball's interchangeable balls are equipped with integrated pins, making it easy to change out your hitch ball for one of another size.
To switch balls, simply push in the integrated pin (using a pen or your finger) to release and remove installed ball. Then just replace with different-size ball, reversing the process.

Today we're going to review Part # 901B. This is the Convert-A-Ball interchangeable ball set. This ball set will contain a chrome 1 inch diameter shank. It will contain 2 hitch balls, one a 2 inch diameter, another 1 7/8 inch diameter. It does contain the 1 1/2 inch nut and washer that is used to tighten the shank to the ball mount. It also comes with the cotter pin which one is tighten down will slide through the hole and then attach to keep the nut in place.
This does have a 10000 lb gross towing weight capacity. It is corrosion and rust resistant and it makes changing out your hitch balls to different sizes easy just by popping out the integrated pin and replace the ball with any size Convert-A-Ball trailer hitch ball. This uses a new none electric nickel plating technology that produces a strong protective finish. It is corrosion resistant, none magnetic and stain repellant. Has uniform coverage even on the inside and it is an eco friendly plating method which is less harmful to the environment than the traditional chrome electro plating.
This part is made in the USA. This does fit a ball mount with a 1 inch diameter ball hole. The diameter on this shank is 1 inch. The length on this shank is 2 1/4 inches. It does come with a 2 year limited warranty and basically the way you would do that is you'll find a side.
There's this pin that is already insert in here. Find the side that has the dimple on it and you can push it with your finger and then grab it. If it's hard to push with your finger, just use a pin to push it through and basically as you will see it standing open all the way and then your shank will have the holes right here. You just line it up that way, push the pin back through that locks the hitch ball on to the shank. If you want to change it out to a larger ball, just take that one off, find that one.
Push the pin all the way out, as you can see it's open. Line it up with the hole, push it in, now you have a larger 2 inch hitch ball. And that should do it for Part #901B.
