Well-made, but take note this mount has a 1" hole. I had intended to get a class III ball mount with 3/4" hole. I had to get a new ball because my old one has a 3/4" shank. And a new wrench because my 12 inch crescent wrench is too small for this new nut. 29275

Very pleased with the hitch. Very easy to Install. I did not remove the panel. I cut out a 2.5 inch X 12.5 inch section with the panel in place. Also I used a block of wood to move the exhaust pipe over a little. Took me about 30 minutes to install24817

Just Alright - made in CHINA I ordered this per etrailer's suggestion to use with a Curt Class III Receiver Hitch on a 1999 Ford Windstar to pull a pop-up camper. The ball mount (which is made in CHINA) is built very solidly , but there seemed to be a lot of play once inserted into the Curt receiver. There was a lot of clunking around back there while either accelerating, braking, or simply pulling. I ended up wrapping the ball mount shaft with a layer or two of duct tape to tighten things up a bit and alleviate some of the obnoxious clunking. The Ford Winstar pulls great. The Curt receiver is as good as they get (and made in the U.S.A.). The Drawtight ball mount seems to be the weak link in my setup. Next time I'd go with a CURT ball mount. Plus CURT is made in the U.S.A2632
