Easily swap trailers with this adjustable, aluminum ball mount with 2-1/2" shank. Go from a 10" drop to an 11" rise in 1" steps, and swap 2" and 2-5/16" balls. Self-locking system stops theft. Tow up to 10,000 lbs.

This cutaway view of the shank shows the locking mechanism in action. The locking pins extend out from the shank when the key is turned, locking the ball mount into the hitch.

The ball platform locks to the ball mount with an internal lock. When you unlock the platform you can slide it up or down to adjust the ball height. You can also slide the platform off, reverse it, and slide it back on to change ball sizes.

• I offer adjustable ball mounts for a 2-1/2 hitch, but I would recommend to check the size of the hitch on your 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 with the factory installed tow package. The 2-1/2 inch size hitch would be a Class V hitch that would be rated to tow at least 14,000 lbs. I do not offer a hitch with a 2-1/2 inch opening for a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71.
