Not having a welder handy this option is much easier than finding sommeone to weld a tab onto an existing mount.79362

Very happy with this product, heavy duty for sure. Will be trying it out in three weeks when we pull our camper into the mountains out South Carolia. The mount for the anti sway bar is perfect.71999

I haven't actually put this product to use, yet, but it seems to be very well made with clean strong welds. Nice and heavy, and arrived looking like it was just made. And it's made in the USA!!! No Chinese steel. This will work perfectly with my sway control bar and hitch.19340

Expert Answers about Curt Ball Mount with Sway Control Bracket, 3/4" Rise or 2" Drop - D320 Do you have a question about this Ball Mounts?

  • Sway Control Bracket on Both Sides of a Ball Mount
  • I am sorry, but the Curt Ball Mount with Sway Control Bracket, part # D320, is only offered with the sway control bracket on the right side. We do offer a Sway Control Tab, part # 3442, that you can weld onto a ball mount. Or, we also offer a Sway Control Adapter, Left Side, part # 3475, that can be used with a Round Bar weight distribution head.

  • Ball Mount with a Rise and Sway Control Bracket for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma
  • On the trailer hitches we have installed on the same generation Toyota Tacoma as your 2010, the average height from the ground to the top of the receiver is 16-1/8 inches. One was a 2010 it was 18-1/4 inches. Based on these numbers you will need a ball mount with a rise between 6 and 8 inches. But you will want to measure from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on your hitch when parked on level ground to get the exact number you need to reach 24 inches. For a rise of 6-3/4 inches

  • How to Mount Sway Control Ball on Right Side of Ball Mount Used in Rise Position
  • I do have a solution for you. Simply use a ball mount with the same rise, like part # 2923 along with a sway control tab, part # RP26003. The tab is placed on top of the ball mount once it is situated in the rise position, and is installed so that it is sandwiched between the trailer ball and the ball mount. We do not carry a ball mount that would have the tab on the right side when used in the rise position.
