Your motor home can be difficult to control for a variety of reasons. Because of its size alone, your vehicle is less aerodynamic and has a higher center of gravity than other cars and trucks. It may also be affected by an uneven distribution of weight. One way to fix these deficits is to install a TruCenter stabilizer.

The TruCenter forms a tight connection between your motor home's tie rod and its chassis to keep steering firm and controlled. Blue Ox takes it a step further by adding a gas spring to the stabilizer so that you can adjust the tension between the two components. Just press the in-cab button and steer your motor home into the most comfortable position. Once your steering feels right - in line, controlled and centered - simply release the button, and the TruCenter will apply enough pressure to maintain that position, so you don't have to. Once the need to oversteer is eliminated, not only will your vehicle track better, you'll feel better too.

• I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox and we do not currently have a steering stabilizer like the TruCenter Steering Stabilizer, # TC35270-6602 listed for your 1994 MCI MC-12 Bus. He did mention that the bus models did not change very much from 1989 and if your jack pads are 2-1/2 square inches and your tie rod is 1-3/4 inches, then this steering stabilizer should work.
