Replace a damaged or worn-out step pad on your Westin E-Series 3" diameter step bar with this non-slip polymer plastic pad. The UV-resistant material will not crack or fade. Requires 5 barrel clips (23-0002 - sold separately) for installation.

Today we have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. Its got a set of Westin Step Bars installed, but over time, one of the plastic pads has worn out and cracked. Were going to replace it today using the Westin Replacement E-Series Step Pad, part #23-0001, as well as the 5-pack of the barrel clips, part #23-0002. This is the replacement pad here. On the underside, you can see there are five plastic posts. Were going to use the barrel clips on these posts, and thats what going to secure our pad to the step bar.
Were going to use the pry tool to remove the pad from the step bar. Once we have the old pad and all the old barrel clips removed, well be ready to install the new one. Well take the new clips, and were going to fit them over each of the five posts on the new pad. Then well take the pad and set it into position up on top of our bar. Well push down each of the five posts, making sure the barrel clips get all the way into the bar.
With that, weve replaced the pad, part #23-0001 on our step bars on our 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. .

The Westin Replacement E-series Step Pad with Replacement Barrel Clips, are easy to install. Just hammer in clips and insert pads. Pre-lubricate pad pins with dish soap. Push in one at a time for proper positioning. They look great!52629

Looks great once installed. Be sure to use dish soap on pegs... if one of the pegs get bent during installation it is toast. The end pegs are not very rigid and will bend and coating them with soap helps. I found out the hard way and $25 later.15531
