Today well be installing the Swagman wall mounted fold0down bike hanger, part number S80955. This kit comes with the hanger itself, two wall anchors and two lag bolts. Youll begin by selecting a location on a wall to mount your hanger. Using a level well simply place the wall hanger on the wall and assure that is level. Go ahead and mark the holes. The location we have chosen does have a stud behind it, so we wont need the wall anchors that are provided.
Were going to go ahead and drill a quart inch pilot hole because we are working with metal studs behind this wall. Now with our pilot holes drilled well simply place the wall mount on the wall over the holes using the lag bolts well secure the mount to the wall. Now that our mount is anchored to the wall we can load our bike. That will do it for our wall mounted fold down bike hanger, by Swagman, part number S80955.

This bike rack/hanger is exactly as advertised and actually even stronger than I thought it would be. Installation is simple and straightforward. The fold-up bar is really a nice feature and seems to be sturdy and strong too. The customer service from the company has been excellent as well. Nice to know that great products are out there being shipped from great customer service oriented people. I would definitely come back to look for future items fro these folks! My only knock is that the box and packaging it was shipped in seemed to be a little much as far as materials. But all in all, a great experience with e-trailer.65497

It's a nice rack how it folds up but to install is a pain if you're not using studs. The screws they give are cheap for the sheet rock. I had to make a stable frame so it can hold the weight. Other than that it's good. 63784

Great product, especially for the price. When I began to drill to hang it, I realized my building has metal studs in the walls. I've never hung anything as heavy as my bike so i was nervous about the supplied plastic drywall anchors. So I spent $1 at the local hardware store on heavy duty drywall toggles and its solid as a rock. 56381

This bike rack worked out perfectly for my apartment. It's very sturdy for single bike use (road). Just make sure that you install it directly into a stud or use pop toggle anchors that fit the depth of the dry wall you have. 51266
