I purchased this to replace the "composite", read junk plastic gearbox from Atwood. My local RV stores wanted $100 for the junk plastic one. One store said they can't keep them in stock ever since Atwood changed them from metal to "composite" read cheap plastic. I found this aluminum gearbox to be sturdy and an exact replacement for the existing one. Where the plastic one would flex and the gears would slip when lifting my 16,000 trailer, this one is sturdy and just works. Thanks for a cost effective replacement. 69977

This gearbox replaced the Atwood. Installation was straight-forward. I ordered on Saturday evening, got confirming emails the same night & ship notice Sunday! Delivery a few days later. Great company!68513
