Lock up the tools, ladders and portable power equipment in your truck bed in just seconds with the TrackLock. This heavy-duty lock allows you to add a locking tie-down point to your truck bed's factory-installed cargo tracks.
Features:
Specs:
Many of today's trucks, including Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, and Toyota, come from the factory with tracks or channels mounted on the side walls or floor of the bed. These have fitted sliding anchors that help you tie down your gear. The Master Lock TrackLock mounts in these same tracks or channels and provides a lockable tie-down anchor to help deter the theft of tools, ladders, portable power equipment and other gear.
Simply slide one looped end of a cable or chain (sold separately) around the TrackLock's stainless steel shaft, weave the cable through the handles or cutouts on your tools, and then loop the cable back to and around the TrackLock. Another way to lock up is to loop the cable through your gear and then through itself before looping the other end around the shaft. Push in the lock and walk away enjoying the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your valuable equipment is secure.

Today were going to review part number 8251DAT. This is the Master Lock Track Lock Tie Down Anchor for truck cargo rail systems. Many of todays trucks including Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, and Toyota theyll come from the factory with tracks or channels that are mounted on the sidewalls or the floor of the bed, and these have fitted sliding anchors that will help you tie down your gear. What this Master Lock Track Lock will do, it will mount in the same tracks or channels and it will provide a lockable tie down anchor to help prevent the theft of tools, ladders, power equipment and other gear. Now this is a stainless steel construction, which is durable and resists corrosion. It does require a cable or chain, which would be sold separately, to secure your gear to the lock. This is a push lock design, which makes it easy to lock. Basically if you just open the cover, comes with two keys and mounting hardware, if you put your key in, unlock it, itll slide off and the pin with remove from the track.
Basically what the push lock means is all you need to do is just push it in and it will lock automatically, then to remove it you just turn the key, you can remove it. So basically if you just slide it trough, push it on, it will lock in place. It is a simple installation. This bottom part will attach to your trucks rail system, does include the mounting hardware. On the lock there is a key way cover, which will protect the lock mechanism from any moisture or dirt. Two keys are included. This will fit on most of the factory installed in bed truck cargo track systems from Ford, Chevy, GMC, Toyota.
It does also work on the track rack or etrack after market systems.Basically what you would do, the directions that are included shows how this mounts to each particular cargo system. So if we just remove the pin and the lock you end up having this track part with the plates on the bottom and basically what you would do is these rubber covers, pull those off, push them towards the inside, and then this inner part will slide out and you can see theres the screw heads right there. So this would basically install into the tracks or the rails or the channels and you would tighten it down with those screw heads. Then to put it back together just slide this part over, and as you can see theres two little clips right there and theres indentations, if you just put the clips where the indentations are, and then just push it into place, theyll snap into place. Same way, line the clips up with the indentations then youll have your whole track system.
Then all you need to do is what youll basically do is take your cable that will have a loop on the ends and basically put one loop onto this shaft, actually what you want to do is slide it through, put your loop into there, run the cable through your gear or your equipment and then take the other loop and put it on here, then slide it through so you have both loops of your cable attached on here then just push it in, lock it into place, pull out the key and boom your cable loops will be in here, this will be attached to the track system, youll be able to lock anything down to this tie down. This part does come with a limited lifetime warranty. That should do it for review on part number 8251DAT.
