Note: Tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 1,500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure the load. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tie-down strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today we're going to review part number IMF14087, these are the E-Track Adapter Straps to be used with the CargoBuckle Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps and I have an example of one of those tie-down straps right here. And basically, when this is used it has a mounting hole and this would usually be mounted to your trailer or your truck bed and then your S-hook would extend out and allow--you need to tie down your cargo. What these E-Track Adapters will allow you to do is they will bolt in place of where the mounting bolt is on your retractable ratchet strap and besides the S-hook on this end of the ratchet strap, it will allow you to connect your ratchet strap to an E-track or snap lock hold down system. The adapter will have the E-Lock or the E-Track Snap Lock Connector on one end and then a mounting bolt on the other end. And basically the width of that strap is two inches and the length will be 7 inches. These straps do have a maximum load breaking strength of 2500 pounds each.
The actual safe working load limit would be 1/3 of that which is 833 pounds. And this part number would come with two adapter straps and the mounting hardware. It does have a one-year limited warranty. And I also wanted to show you what the E-Track or snap lock system is. I have an example of the hold down system right here that is usually bolted to your trailer.
And basically, this adapter, with this being connected to the ratchet strap, the other end would just snap into the E-Track system and then you remove it. You just pull up on the lever and it will remove it. So that should do it for part number IMF14087.
