Had to cut the front corner of the trailer to allow for the installation of the jack. Built a battery box to hold a deep cycle marine battery, the jacks power supply is directly for battery, the battery is also charged by the truck . installation was more complex due to the fact that we had to fabricate much more then normal. The jack seem to be just what the doctor ordered.11922

  • What Are the Dimensions of Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single Speed Jacks
  • I called my contact at the manufacturer and the dimensions of the motor are 3-9/16 inches wide, 6-3/16 inches wide and 8 inches long. It might be too sung of a fit. However, depending on your jack setup, if it is bolted you may be able to add a couple of washers as spacers to provide a bit of extra clearance. You may also be able to rotate the jack so that the drive runs parallel to the trailer so that clearance becomes a non-issue. You could not set the jack this way with a side crank handl

  • How to Manually Operate a Bulldog Landing Gear Jack with Powered-Drive Kit # BD1824200100
  • What he will need to do is to use an appropriate sized socket and wrench on the end of the rod located above the electric motor on Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks, # BD1824200100. He will also most likely need an extension in order to be able to turn the wrench a full 360 degrees and not make contact with the electric motor.

  • Bulldog Power Drive Kit Mounting Location for Clearing a Spare Tire
  • If you are looking at the front of the jack, the side that has the bull dog sticker, you could only put this Bulldog powered-drive kit for single-speed jacks, part # BD1824200100, on the left side of it. What you could do is spin the entire jack 180 degrees, so that the jack is facing the opposite direction and then the # BD1824200100 would be out of the way of your spare tire that is on your horse trailer.

  • Which Bulldog Powered Drive Kit Works with 2 Speed Bulldog Landing Gear Trailer Jacks
  • A 2 speed jack will have a second gear set attached to the jack. It would either be operated by taking the handle off of the first speed and moving it to a separate spot on the jack for the second speed or, more commonly, the crank handle will be pushed in or pulled out to engage the second gear set. Take a look at the Bulldog 2-Speed Jack, # BD183816, as an example. It does matter between single and 2 speed when you are looking to add a powered drive kit. The powered drive, # BD1824200100, t

  • Installation of Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks # BD1824200100 on a Trailer
  • The Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks, part # BD1824200100, should be wired to a trailer battery. The four wires in the wiring harness are white, black, red, and green. The red and black wire will go to the red and black wire on the motor. The green wire will go to the positive terminal of the trailer battery and the white wire will go to the negative terminal of the trailer battery. The problem with connecting it to your trailer wiring is that the smaller gauge of the wire in

  • Power Drive Jack Recommendation for a 1987 4 Star 6 Horse Slant 13,500 lb GVWR Trailer
  • I would recommend going with the Bulldog Square Jack, # BD182815, or the Bulldog Square Jack, # BD182805. These jacks will both work with the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit, # BD1824200100, that you referenced and feature 10,000 lbs of lift capacity. These are the best heavy duty jacks we carry at this time, and we do not have a hydraulic trailer jack option available. The main difference between these two jacks is that one has a side facing plunger pin at the base and the other has a forward fac

  • Why Would a Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit Operate Slowly on a 4000 lb Trailer
  • I spoke with my contact at Bulldog and he said there are a couple things that could be the reason for why the motor is working slower than you expected. First thing he said was that you need to make sure the motor is wired up with between 10-12 gauge wire. You also want to make sure you have a good ground. He said you also need to consider the condition of the jack. If it is older and it was difficult to operate manually then it will also be difficult for this motor to raise and lower the
