  • Running Lights on a 2009 Mercury Mariner Stay on With Curt Wiring Harness # 56067
  • I spoke with my contact at Curt and he told me that the T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C56160, was improved from the older # 56067 wiring harness. The new # C56160 harness comes with an improved converter box to prevent any power from back feeding onto the vehicle tail light circuits. This wiring harness will install the same way on your 2009 Mercury Mariner as the 56067 harness. I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to reference.

  • What Is Needed For Flat Towing A 2009 Mercury Mariner Behind A Motorhome With A Stowmaster Tow Bar
  • To attach the Roadmaster StowMaster 5000 tow bar to your 2009 Mercury Mariner you will need the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 4406-1. These base plates will install on your Mariner and once the drawbars are removed, the remaining brackets are virtually invisible. To complete the towing set up for your Mariner, you will also need safety cables, and lighting. For safety cables, I recommend RoadMaster 64 inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, # RM-643. The base plates provide attachment

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Lighting Problems with 2009 Mecury Mariner Wiring 118551
  • Locating your problem will require some troubleshooting. You will first need to determine if the problem exists with the vehicle wiring or with the trailer wiring. Typically, the problem occurs on the trailer. To rule out the vehicle, start by using a circuit tester like part # 3808 on the trailer connector on the vehicle, as each function is being operated. Have a helper activate the left turn signal, then test the pin on the connector that corresponds with the yellow wire. Activate the righ

  • The Thule Sidekick Cargo Box, # TH682, will fit your 2009 Mercury Mountaineer with factory roof rack (side rails and cross bars). If your Mountaineer just has side rails that run front to back, you will first need to add cross bars using Thule Complete Crossroad Kit, # TH45050. Installation details and a video review linked below. The Sidekick mounts to your vehicles cross bars using U-bolts that come with the box.

  • Wiring Harness for a 2009 Mercury Mariner without Factory Installed Trailer Hitch
  • You indicate your Mariner did not come with a hitch. According to Ford's website, that means it is not wired for towing either. Product number 118251 is for vehicles with a towing package, so it will not work for your vehicle. You will need product number 118551, a wiring harness with a 4 pole trailer connector for your Mariner. This wiring harness may be used with 5-pole, 6-pole, or 7-pole adapters. This is a custom fit wiring harness for your Mariner. I will attach a wiring FAQ and the

  • 2009 Mercury Mariner Cargo Liner
  • The WeatherTech Black Cargo Liner, # WT40197, fits your cargo area behind the 2nd row (last row) of seats. The measurements are hard to be specific on because it is a custom fit product. It comes rolled up, so it is hard to measure but here is what I found. From front to rear the mat measures 36-1/2 inches, from side to side, in the back of the vehicle, the mat measures 48 inches, and between the wheel wells the mat measures 40-1/2 inches. Again these measurements are approximate but should h
